Resumo: The literature of fiction has emerged as a place of study on representations built on gender relations, being the character who can best feel the changes suffered by the real subjects. Works about feminine´s representation in literature have questioned the behavior of some female characters in contemporaneousness that even after the gains of the feminist movement and sexual revolution, still show an extreme mental and emotional dependence on male. So, betting that literary language can get closer to the complexity of reality, this work proposes, by a brazilian contemporary work entitled Obsceno Abandono: amor e perda [Naughty Early: love and loss (2002)], authorship of Marilene Felinto, the discussion about the constancy in representation of feminine's position in love relationship, from a concept originated from psychoanalysis - devastation. To reach this aim, freudo-lacanian contributions were used, as well as some authors who think about the contemporary discontent. For psychoanalysis, men and women assume different positions in love, there are male and female ways of enjoying. In the case of woman, the demand of love that she drives to her partner is infinite, what makes impossible his reciprocity and can take her into devastation. In the work considered, the narrator-character repeats the trace of devastation that has been observed in the current works authored by women. By analyzing the statements of this character it was possible to reflect about this constancy, not as a submission towards the male but as something that resists on the feminine question and emerges from the subject woman denouncing something of her subjectivity. From this work it´s possible to conclude that it doesn´t matter how contemporary the woman is, whether it´s reality or fiction, she doesn´t want to renounce the desire to be loved, possibly being submitted to all sorts of things to achieve success in her order, destroying her being and annihilating herself as a subject. However, love does not only offer this devastated position to the woman, but can be the way to achieve extreme happiness, as long as she consents to the act of love, letting herself to serve as object cause of desire for a man.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Myrna Agra Maracajá Maia.pdf: 1042506 bytes, checksum: e15c551953cf8dae75cf21ffccadf93f (MD5)Approved for entry into archive by Irenilda Medeiros (nildamedeiros@uepb.edu.br) on 2016-10-07T15:50:36Z (GMT) No. of bitstreams: 1 Myrna Agra Maracajá Maia.pdf: 1042506 bytes, checksum: e15c551953cf8dae75cf21ffccadf93f (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2016-10-07T15:50:36Z (GMT).
