This work is research object knowledge present about the fights in the Official Docments of the State of Parana Basic Education (PARANÁ, 2008, 2012) and in the curricula of undergraduate programs in Physical Education of universities in the city of Curitiba-PR. It is part of the historical and dialectical materialism perspective, seeking interfaces and possibilities for an education that aims to human emancipation. Have been as problematic question "What are the similarities and the distances between what has been proposed on the educational fights in the Curriculum Guidelines of Basic Education Physical Education - DCE (PARANÁ, 2008), the Learning Expectations Book (PARANÁ, 2012), and in the curricula of undergraduate programs in Physical Education of universities in the city of Curitiba-PR? ". The objectives of the research were: a) Understand what has been proposed on the teaching of fights in the Basic Education Curriculum Guide Physic Education - DCE (PARANÁ, 2008) and Learning Expectations Book (PARANÁ, 2012); b) Check how they are organized curricula of undergraduate programs in Physical Education of universities in the city of Curitiba-PR on the educational fights; c) Identify the similarities and differences concerning knowledge about fights between the Official Documents of the State of Parana Basic Education and the menus and syllabi of the courses of Degree Courses in Physical Education of universities in the city of Curitiba-PR; d) To analyze the gaps and potentials in the initial formation of Physical Education teachers about the educational fights in school. The theoretical basis of the research was substantiated by studies on the historical and dialectical materialism Marx, understanding that this is the foundation that supports the historical-critical pedagogy proposed by Saviani (2005); critical-surpassing approach (COLETIVO DE AUTORES, 1992) and revising the curriculum (SACRISTÁN, 2000). The survey was conducted in undergraduate programs in Physical Education three (3) universities in the city of Curitiba-PR, with the subject of the last academic year / period of these courses. As research instruments were used to document analysis and questionnaire. For analysis and discussion of the data we used the Marxist core categories: contradiction, praxis, mediation entirety as well as the requirements for an emancipatory educational activities proposed by Tonet (2005). It is intended, with this study contribute to broaden the understanding of the initial training of physical education teachers and expectations regarding their educational performance as the teaching of fights at school. The results indicate that the content of fights is present in the curricula of universities, but with reduced hours, contemplating few modalities, not always related to teaching in school, there are still major differences between disciplines fights of universities, while documents officials of Paraná (2008, 2012) indicate a variety of modalities and the need for its thematization under way "historical" and "philosophical" as well as technical aspects, marking a big gap between what provides the curriculum of universities and official documents the State of Paraná (2008, 2012).
