The research that underpin this thesis part of an ethnographic case study of collective arrangements, sociability, urban space occupation and identity of young members of the urban group "Black Cape" in the city of Montes Claros / MG. A style group derived from the rock music genre that is a set of elements that support a specific lifestyle. The research methodology was based on the theoretical and methodological frameworks of the Case Study and Ethnography Urbana. I used ideas from authors representing the ethnography of views, focusing on the ethnographic studies with theme on urban youth groups, a priori, will work with the analysis category "piece" of Magnani (2000) as the locus of encounter and how they organizes the youth group of the research. The fieldwork activities were carried out for three and a half years (between 2012 and 2015) at Mr. Esteves Rodrigues Avenue (Av. Sanitary), next to busy places frequented by young people and the group "Black Cape". The aim of this study was to map the different forms of sociability built by those social actors linked to the rock, and thus elucidate how these collective arrangements and their native categories can express a specific perspective on urbanity, its borders and contribute to the studies of Sciences social on City and Society, regarding the formation of subcultures by young. For both, the native categories "in the vein", "in Veissima" and "fantasies" were taken as the main object of the analysis, which allowed unravel a system alliances that underpin the construction of collective notions of belonging, as well as a specific perspective on the segmentation and classification of urban spaces. Also analyzed the style values "Black Cape" to be, to live and hang out.
