Resumo: The present thesis has the purpose to make us reflect on the contradiction and the conflict that the union movement lives before facing a socio metabolism adapting process of the capital and its logistics. It is considered that this adapting process, this bureaucratization process, is supported in transformism and pragmatism, which was gradually incorporated by a great part of the union leaders, as a result of the abandonment of socialist ideologies and of the strategic perspective of rupture with the capitalism production way, and with a praxis that is possible to remodel and humanize the capital and the capitalism. Thus, this thesis regards the analyses and comprehension of this process, which is dialectically in a fight at CUT, making the conflicting strategic projects clear, in debate inside and outside CUT. In Brazil the union movement was not immune to a new sociability and to the neoliberal offensive. This adaptation goes deeply on changing its conceptions and politics orientations. We have verified an increasingly tendency that the Central which was born with strong elements of capitalism order contestation, of historical worker`s interests defense, such as the fight for the socialism and the workers` emancipation, has become a political and organizational tool to the capital maintenaince and its economical societal project. In a broader sense, based on these theoretical assumptions, at first, it was performed a revision of the existing literature about the theme, historicizing the socio historical and political processes that consubstantiated and metamorphosized the object, and analyzing the transformations and reconfigurations of the capitalism way of production, the historical and political influences of these changes in ideology, organization and union practice in its major sector, the CUT. As an information source, materials produced by CUT collective subjects, and other union centers were taken (notebooks of political analysis, thesis from union congresses and publications in books and magazines) and also other analyses and publications produced by scholars on the theme. We have followed up and we have taken part in union congresses, thematic meeting, seminars, training courses, planning, production and development of projects. The political and ideological conceptions of the leaderships are present, represented either directly or indirectly, in congressional thesis, political resolutions, and texts of analysis of the Centrals and its distinct tendencies, which were crucial sources of references for analysis in our paper. Therefore, we analyzed from classical and contemporary theoretical references, the historical and immediate role of the unions and the union movement, seeking to contextualize it historically, its necessities, contradictions, possibilities and limits, as a class instrument in a battle for a construction of a social project of economic, social and political transformation, in a perspective of human emancipation. We have investigated and we aim to understand the determinations and the socio politics conditionings that have affected the labor world and the unions. Besides, we have discussed the alternatives, tasks and challenges to the unions and to the union movement.

Besides, we have discussed the alternatives, tasks and challenges to the unions and to the union movement. E Além disto, discutimos as alternativas, tarefas e desafios aos sindicatos e ao movimento sindicalSubmitted by Boris Flegr (boris@uerj.br) on 2021-01-07T18:08:47Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Tese_Helder Molina.pdf: 2669324 bytes, checksum: 5d84ee6cc98963736908d4911c22af6c (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2021-01-07T18:08:47Z (GMT).
