The present work investigates perverted sexuality and perversion, themes of great political relevance not only in the field of psychoanalysis, but in various other fields of knowledge. Despite being fundamental concepts and crucial problems in psychoanalysis, there is great confusion within its knowledge. In investigating this difficulty within the field of psychoanalysis, in the first chapter, a search for a historical discourse for what was yet to be named was conducted. Through the Age of Enlightenment with its new discourse regarding sex, it became progressively inevitable to question sexuality. The work highlighted the birth of sexual sciences in relation to other areas of knowledge. We sought to bring to surface the period in which Freud was relevant and how he developed his theories. A research in the concept of his work, in which his different theoretical positions was observed, was necessary. At the beginning of this writings, perverted sexualities and perversion are presented as concepts, as Freud still identifies with the thought processes of the time. Some concepts that appear in the early stages of his work, only gain permanent statute in his late works. Freud s theoretical-clinical foundation highlights these difficulties and it is only in 1927, with the verleugnung, that the defense mechanism is defined and conceptualized, along psychosis and neurosis, in a tripartite structure. After this conceptual research, the work presents difficulties to transmit this knowledge that is not known, strange and extraterritorial. And it is not only to transmit, but also to accept the strangeness and to support Freud s subversion of concepts, as they are theoretical central concepts that differentiate themselves from prior knowledge. In these impasses, we arise at the question of ethics, Freud s metapsychology. For accepting the hole of being-to-the-sex, the work converted to art and sublimation as ways to know how to do about the sexual drive, elevating the object to the dignity of the Thing. These impasses are worked and related to the works of Freud and Lacan, presenting and emphasizing the need to sustain Freudian subversion
