Resumo: | This thesis aimed to analyze a stage of the formation of the Brazilian Capitalist State, which corresponds to the end of the Estado Novo regime and to the validity of the democratic regime instituted by the Constitution of 1946. In this period, there was a growing centralization of different economic apparatuses, which contributed to the formation of a pattern of accumulation of an industrializing nature. A set of "issues of the Bourgeois Revolution" was at stake at this moment, according to the conceptualization elaborated by Sônia Draibe (1985). Among the various forms of state intervention that were being formed, a labor market regulation was established, which opened the formal possibility of political manifestation of workers in unions. The present thesis analyzes how during the political opening that began in 1945, the workers came to explore the possibilities of political intervention, in order to offer a new equation to the issues of the Bourgeois Revolution. For this purpose, we will use the concept of political efficacy in order to understand how political activists - especially those belonging to the Brazilian Communist Party - articulated different patterns of demands while coordinating their union activism. In a process that was only to be interrupted by the 1964 civil-military coup, the trade union movement demanded a certain direction of industrialization, which offered conditions to expand and implant its rights |

Nesse período, ocorreu uma crescente centralização de diferentes aparelhos econômicos, os quais contribuíam para a formação de um padrão de acumulação de cunho industrializante. Encontrava-se em jogo um conjunto de questões da Revolução Burguesa , segundo a conceituação elaborada por Sônia Draibe (1985). Dentre as diversas formas de intervenção estatal que vinham sendo formadas, estabeleceu-se uma regulamentação do mercado de trabalho que abria a possibilidade formal de manifestação política dos trabalhadores em sindicatos. A presente tese analisa como, durante a abertura que se iniciou em 1945, os trabalhadores vieram a explorar as possibilidades de intervenção política, de modo a oferecer um novo equacionamento às questões da Revolução Burguesa. Para isso, lançaremos mão do conceito de eficácia política para entender como militantes políticos em especial os pertencentes ao Partido Comunista Brasileiro articularam diferentes pautas reivindicatórias ao mesmo tempo em que coordenaram seu ativismo sindical.
