This dissertation aims to understand the knowledge and everyday practices that occur in the context of the pedagogical organization narrated by a beginner teacher from a public school in São Gonçalo. Seek to discuss themes of educational practice that instigate to reflect as a researcher teacher and apprehend meanings of situations in the school context that contribute to the quality of the teaching action.I chose as a strategy to record my narratives the use of letter writing. I found in Paulo Freire the inspiration to write them. The written narratives tell a little of the anxieties and possibilities of the teaching action experienced in the school context, in the daily meeting with the other subjects of the school.In writing the formation Memorial, I sought to understand the knowledge produced during my education in pedagogy and to narrate the contributions to my learning. I deal with the research paths in which I bring the narrative as a methodology, pointing out how I came to this choice.Next I bring the letters and the analyses performed. As a resource of analysis I support the proposal of analysis by thematization. Investigating the teaching practice itself as a beginner teacher is a way of recognizing and valuing the knowledge produced by educators in their contexts of teacher action.Through the readings,I realized that many problems and situations experienced by Freire and reported in his letters meet the situations reported in the letters written by me, beginner teacher, about everyday life in public school. Thus, the research comes to present, in an analytical way, situations of the school routine, the relevance of the written record, the reflection and the analysis of the educational practice itself, mainly related to beginning teachers.
