Resumo: It is known at present in the school context that the teaching of conics is done in an isolated and analytical way, affecting negatively the learning of this subject matter. This way, from the geometrical point of view, our investigation proposes the contextualized teaching of the conics in the classroom in order to take full advantage of the mathematical knowledge from high school and college students. Having that in mind, in general terms, we go over the theoretical studies of Boyer (1996) and Cajori (1991) that deal with the divisions of cones investigated initially by Menaechmus and improved by Dandelin. Besides that, we deal with the eccentricity in the dynamic geometry environment, through computer resources presented by Giraldo, Caetano and Mattos (2012). In this work, we present, besides the scientific character, an invitation for reflection when we elaborate activities for our own classes and , besides that, because these tasks help the students develop their mastery of content and overcome their difficulties. This way, by the end of the research we suggest some activities to Mathematics teachers with the aim to collaborate with the contextualized teaching of conics. We believe that, this way, we fight against the passive participation of students in face of any challenge in their teaching/learning process, and , from this context, we promote a more meaningful interaction in the classroom

Desta forma, sob o ponto de vista geométrico, nossa investigação propõe o ensino contextualizado das cônicas, em sala de aula, a fim de potencializar os conhecimentos matemáticos dos estudantes de Ensino Médio e Superior. Para isso, em linha geral, discorremos sobre os estudos teóricos de autores como Boyer (1996) e Cajori (1991) que tratam das divisões de cones investigadas inicialmente por Menaechmus e aperfeiçoadas por Dandelin. Além disso, tratamos da excentricidade, no ambiente da geometria dinâmica, por meio dos recursos computacionais apresentados por Giraldo, Caetano e Mattos (2012). Neste trabalho, realizamos, além do caráter científico, um convite à reflexão no momento em que elaboramos atividades para as nossas aulas e, sobretudo, porque estas tarefas auxiliam os alunos a fixarem conteúdos e a superarem suas dificuldades. Neste sentido, ao final desta pesquisa, sugerimos algumas atividades aos professores de matemática no intuito de colaborar para o ensino contextualizado das cônicas.
