Resumo: | In this work the thermodynamic properties of an asymmetric nuclear system with arbitrary proton fraction are studied. We employ a Skirme model in which surface and Coulombian effects are phenomenologically include to treat finite nuclei. The effect of including surface and Coulomb terms is also discussed. We analyze the chemical and mechanical instabilities as a function of the asymmetry parameter. The isothermal and adiabatic incompressibilities as well as the specific heat and constant pressure and volume per nucleon as a function of the proton fraction are calculated. The coexistence surfaces (binodals) for different temperatures are constructed and the discussion about the order of the phase transition is made. Applications for a set of finite nuclei taking their critical parameters into account are presented. |
