Resumo: The purpose of this text is to analyzing the technological innovation the Brazilian industrial companies carried through by research PINTEC. The PINTEC is the Research Technological Innovation today, the official index of Brazil, carried through for the IBGE, FINEP and MCT. The research is carried through in its 2ª edition, referring to years 2001, 2002 and 2003, and published in June of 2005. The study it reflects the importance of the innovation and the influence of the management in the strategy of innovation in Brazil. First, the bibliography was selected so that concepts of innovation and management are created and to establish the relation between the subjects, after this phase then, with the publication of the research, had been delimited the aspects to be analyzed to justify the questions raised in the research. From now on carried through the analysis of the presented data and. Still some future recommendations for analysis will be presented, resultant of the comment of the present study.

A PINTEC é a Pesquisa Inovação Tecnológica hoje, o índice oficial do Brasil, realizada pelo IBGE , FINEP e MCT. A pesquisa é realizada em sua 2ª edição, referente aos anos 2001, 2002 e 2003, e publicado em Junho de 2005. O estudo reflete a importância da inovação e a influência da gestão na estratégia de inovação no Brasil. Primeiro, foi selecionado a bibliografia para que sejam criados conceitos de inovação e gestão e estabelecer a relação entre os temas, após esta fase então, com a publicação da pesquisa, foram delimitados os aspectos a serem analisados para justificar as questões levantadas na pesquisa. A partir de então realizado a análise dos dados e apresentados.
