Resumo: This dissertation discusses communication, television news and collaborative content to support and anchor the critical reading of the painting “O Brasil que eu quero”, by Rede Globo de Televisão (RGT), launched in March 2018 and shown until September 2018. The project of RGT is built from the following question: Which Brazil do you want for the future? ”, and appears within the television news program with the promise of listening and broadcasting (1) a video from each Brazilian municipality. From this proposal, a hanking of the main needs of Brazilians is created. Thus, through the verification of the numerous deficiencies in the process of building citizenship in Brazil, evidenced by the population itself throughout the videos, a process of building this work begins, with a focus on investigating what would be the discourse on citizenship inserted within these videos. , with a sample cut for only the videos in which the words citizenship or citizen appear in the speaker's speech. Methodologically, the work was based on Critical Discourse Analysis, based on Fairclough's writings, using Three-Dimensional Analysis as a support for understanding the qualitative and subjective aspects of the videos. The question-problem that guides this work is: What is the discursive construction of the meaning of "citizenship and citizens" in the videos of "The Brazil I want". Specifically, the videos in which these words and their derivatives were mentioned were analyzed, and the results showed a deficit in the theme and its meaning in the analyzed videos. The term citizens appears to name the collective, becoming synonymous with a group of people. It is also evident that there is no awareness of the real meaning of citizenship, having as main correlations issues related to politics, law and duties. The citizen appears as an adjective to classify those who are able to rethink their attitudes and contribute to the improvement of the country based on their own actions. There is a silence in the northern region, with no word citizenship or derivatives found in the analyzed videos. Democratized access to the means of communication is a possibility for RGT, but structured based on rules and criteria of the broadcaster itself, which selects the videos to be aired.

Democratized access to the means of communication is a possibility for RGT, but structured based on rules and criteria of the broadcaster itself, which selects the videos to be aired. Submitted by Franciele Moreira (francielemoreyra@gmail.com) on 2020-02-28T19:14:13Z No. of bitstreams: 2 Dissertaçao - Carlos Henrique Martins - 2020.pdf: 27635759 bytes, checksum: c36977edcae1eafaf5edfc9438a7177c (MD5) license_rdf: 0 bytes, checksum: d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e (MD5)Approved for entry into archive by Luciana Ferreira (lucgeral@gmail.com) on 2020-03-02T13:37:56Z (GMT) No. of bitstreams: 2 Dissertaçao - Carlos Henrique Martins - 2020.pdf: 27635759 bytes, checksum: c36977edcae1eafaf5edfc9438a7177c (MD5) license_rdf: 0 bytes, checksum: d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2020-03-02T13:37:56Z (GMT).
