Aparecida of Goiania is a city that develops a relationship inextricable with Goiania. The goal of this research was precisely understand the role of this relationship in the process of structuring the space intra-urban of Aparecida. The central question that guided our analysis was: how was formed Aparecida of Goiania? The seminal this question should be added others: a) what the processes, actors and the stages of the production process of intra-urban area of Aparecida of Goiania? c) what are the implications on its way space resulting from their duties or their relationship with Metropolitan Region of Goiania - RMG as a whole and especially in Goiania? What is the nature of the value of intra-urban area of Aparecida de Goiania? To meet these problems, established himself as objectives of the study: examine the production of the RMG in general and of Aparecida of Goiania in particular; to divide into periods and to map the occupation of Aparecida of Goiania; to analyse the social agents and producers processes of this area; to analyse the functions that Aparecida of Goiania currently plays in RMG; and to analyse how this space is valued by all of society and more specifically for journalistic production in Goiania. It took place, for this, literature review with the objective of determining the state of the art in the to refer to theories about the discussions on the urban and metropolitan area; about the structuring of Goiania intra-urban area and training of RMG, and also it was looked for documents, academic works and other works that discuss specifically Aparecida of Goiania, with the last point rather problematic, as almost no studies that address specifically this city. It did a mapping of the creation of lots from the emergence of village in 1922 until the year 2005 with the help of ArcView program. Given our assumption, that is, of that the metropolization of Goiania is fundamental to the structure of intra-urban area of Aparecida of Goiania, set up as a chronologic point of departure of our investigation the decade of 1960, this obviously does not prevent that recuemos previous periods constantly. Thus, the process of occupation divided into four stages: 1922 to 1963 - From the establishment of core isolated segregated; From 1963 to 1980 - the structuring of the metropolitan area to the periphery of expanded production and secreted; 1980 to 1990 - Strengthening the segregation: Population growth; From 1990 to the present day - The creation of a multifunctional integrated general region of the city. Finally, discussion was held on how the intra-urban area of Aparecida of Goiania is valued. The survey was conducted in the Official The People issues relating to the years 2007 and 2008. We analyzed the figures on Sunday of every month considered, ie January 2007 to March 2008. The study seeks to identify the references to public grounds in terms cities. It was found that the references are predominantly located to the areas where the ruling classes. The few references to Aparecida of Goiania city are mostly for the news concerning the criminality. The police page live in the references to Aparecida of Goiania. This research has demonstrated so that the image to build the city is directly linked to how spaces are discussed. Goiania peripheral areas and totality of the city of Aparecida of Goiania receive a differentiated attention in the printed media, due to are areas whose occupation is predominantly aimed at exploited class. Thus, the valuation axiologic of space is another element to understand the process of domination of one class on using other strategies space. In brief, this dissertation showed that the spatial structure of Aparecida of Goiania is embedded within the class of strategies for maintaining the relations of exploitation and domination via control and field space. As a locus of preferential settlement of class explored, the municipality experienced in 1990 a comprehensive restructuring of its intra-urban space by changing certain aspects in their duties. As to the 1980 primary a dormitory city, decades of experience in the 1990 and 2000 changes in the functions of their intra-urban area and becomes a general region multifunctional integrated the city's current stage of development of its intra-urban area.
