This research aims to contribute to the answers of questions about the role of heritage preservation for Tangará da Serra history (Mato Grosso), and how cultural heritage can offer society a framework for the construction of its historicity and its identity. Trying to understand the representations built on Tapirapuã, region located in the Chapada dos Parecis, once border area between Portugal and Spain, where it is located one of Casas de Rondon (Rondon Homes), declared a state historic heritage in 2012. The representations are essential to understanding the tensions and disputes involving the formation process of societies, nations and cities. Giving visibility to occupation of Paresí and the contact these people had with different fronts of colonial expansion and post-colonial to Rondon in the early years of the Republic and after this period of occupation of Tapirapuã land by landless rural workers. In this period is an option for women's reports based on the view that studying Seated Women is consider the possibility of conducting to historiography fundamental subject contributions to the understanding of contemporary Brazilian society. Seek to show the Casa de Rondon (Rondon's Home) as the 'headquarters' of two distinct historical moments that begin and conclude the 20th century. Search a critical analysis of the positivist perspective that guides the Ordinance Tipping as the foundation for a heritage education to raise the consciousness. Intended to highlight the need to implement public policies of heritage education to be developed at the municipal level, as a possibility of building a historical culture of heritage preservation, established around the overturning of Casa de Rondon (Rondon’s Home), trying to identify its current condition and the importance of the inclusion of other subjects, people Paresí, Poaieiros, landless workers who are part of the Memory of Casa de Rondon (Rondon’s Home) for memory and historical local culture.
