Noni is a fruit tree that has its origins in Micronesia and has numerous potentialities, especially with regard to medicinal use. Ecologically based crops have been the subject of numerous studies, as their sustainable purpose provides better soil quality, which can be transferred to the exploited culture. The objective of this work was to evaluate the residual effect on soil fertility and on post-harvest quality of noni fruits under the influence of agroecological practices. Soil and noni fruits were collected in an agroecological-based cropping system, located at the Federal University of Paraíba, Campus III, Bananeiras, PB. The experiment was developed according to the 2x2x4 factorial, being these single crops and intercropping with banana, in the absence or presence of cover with pork beans, followed by the application of bovine manure biofertilizer produced by anaerobic method in the respective doses: 0, 0 L; 2.5 L; 5.0 L; 7.5 L. The variables analyzed were soil fertility and quality of noni fruits in terms of physical and chemical characteristics. Single cultivation with the presence of cover shows better results for noni fruits. The soil management residual for noni fruits showed an influence on pH and firmness, when with the use of biofertilizer the recommended doses are 6.17 L for pH and 5.15 L for firmness. For soluble solids, there was an effect with the application of biofertilizer at a dose of 1.99 L. The fruits showed good levels of vitamin C for the residual from intercropping and at a dose of 3.45 L of biofertilizer. The single cultivation of Morinda citrifolia is better in terms of total phenolics and antioxidant activity, and in the presence of cover, as well as in the mineral composition of the soil.
