Resumo: The production of bioenergy from waste is gaining interest due to the increasing cost of fossil fuels and the need to mitigate global warming. In this way, hydrogen is gradually becoming more attractive because it is a source of clean energy. Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe, the lightest fuel and the most energy-rich per unit mass. Through the vapor reforming process of biogas we can produce hydrogen and this biogas, in turn, can be produced from the effluent of manioc (manipueira). The objective of the present study is to perform the exerg?tica, ecological and economic analysis of the hydrogen production through the vapor reforming of the different biogases from the mango tree, showing that cassava wastewater can present great potential for hydrogen production. Four different types of biogas, from studies in the literature that produced biogas from the manipueira, were studied: 70.25%, 75.5%, 80.9% and 97.14% of methane concentration. The thermodynamic parameters were calculated by simulating the vapor reforming process using Hysys software version 8.0. The results obtained from these analyzes showed that this source of hydrogen production, besides being ecologically correct, presents a good exerg?tica efficiency and is financially attractive for the energy production, adding values to the production chain of manioc flour.

Submitted by Jorge Silva (jorgelmsilva@ufrrj.br) on 2021-05-11T02:04:03Z No. of bitstreams: 1 2018 - Jonni Guiller Ferreira Madeira.pdf: 5336833 bytes, checksum: a000a15a041d7e32c36d8d18c55a49d8 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2021-05-11T02:04:03Z (GMT).
