This research aimed to rescue the memory of the video named Programa Momento Rural built and aired from 1994 to 1996 that emerged as a communication action to UFRPE. We seek to interlace the past recollected with the current technologies of the media in rural contexts in the State of Pernambuco. It is verified in specific features even inside in rural zone, neither all people is a small producer, but they articulate differently with the dynamics of urban culture, so they have their own specific way to assimilate, produce culture and build knowledge. On the other hand, viewing these evidences, it persists the necessity of the UFRPE to direct research to the rural man, specifically in Pernambuco State, adapting the scientific text to the popular language in order to intend be more comprehensive. Through oral history methodology (Thompson, 1988 and others theoretical), we rescue a social construction of reality (Berger and Luckman, 2008) of Programa Momento Rural seeking for its shortcomings and contributions on subject perceptions involved in this action of communication. It is noticed that actuate as an acknowledgement constructor aiming the rural area, UFRPE offers information to the population in the urban, academic and, scientific framework, leaving aside a portion of society - the rural people. We observed the importance of think again about this environment as propitious to new strategies of communication that fulfills the socialization role of a knowledge plaid arising from UFRPE waiting circulation. It is evident, nowadays, the requirement of UFRPE to head its research to rural people, specifically in Pernambuco State. After twenty years, rebuild a political and methodological project through the memory of Programa Momento Rural could constitute a fundamental action to elaborate strategies of access that aim socialization of produced knowledge at UFRPE, directing to rural man as final receptor of communication policies.
