This study analyzes the rising of policy of wind farms in the semiarid region of Bahia state, considering the scale perspective concerning the purpose, decision-making and repercussions of the policy. Seeks to explain how it consolidates the energy policy by the wind farms and how this establish the society and nature relationship, with a view to the enjoyment of the latter as a renewable energy source, with low-cost, focused on the local community and / or as raw material for generating added value. In the last decades, the questions about the future of the planet became increasingly evident, concerns about the environment have raised discussions about the use of natural resources sustainably. In this context the industrial and technological development required an increase in power generation demand in the world, making the use of alternative energy sources for electricity generation a prestigious way, mainly the speech of clean and renewable energies associated with the discourse of crisis environment and the necessity to promote the development sustainably. These ideas have been spreading in the world, with proposals that often only analyze the environmental issues out of social relationships, based on changing the way of life, that is, the possibility of change happens to be directed by the way of an environmental education, camouflaging the logic of the capitalist mode of production and exploitation ratio and overexploitation that it establishes with the appropriation of nature, giving it an exchange value and turning it into a commodity for profit generation. Thereby, this study refers to a qualitative research and use of the dialectical method for interpreting reality, which will address how the policy spatializes the change of the relations of production and social and how this affects the lives of the residents of the areas occupied by enterprises. It is considered that it is sustained in the ideology of sustainability that the State consolidates its current energy policy with the implementation of wind farms in Brazil, emphasizing that it is a renewable energy source, low cost, directed at the local community, retracting its real interests and Losses.
