Resumo: The study was conducted in order to describe the shape of bole and evaluate the income from assortments of trees coming from Tectona grandis L.f plantations located in the central-south region of Mato Grosso state, and to develop a simulator to provide the forest producer technical and economic information to the appropriate planning of forest stand. The database consisted of T. grandis trees divided into ten classes of diameter at breast height (DBH) covered by different procedures and measurement positions. Randomly approximately 20 trees per DBH class comprised the setting database, making a total of 148 trees. Nonsegmented, segmented and variable models were adjusted and the accuracy of the equations was evaluated by graphical analysis of the residuals, adjusted coefficient of determination, standard error of the estimate in percentage and graphical analysis of the average profiles. The best equation was submitted to stratifications of DBH, artificial form factor and "r" shape parameters, and modifications based on the study of the shape change points of the trees. Mixed modeling was applied to the selected equation, testing random effects for DBH class and for trees. DBH classes were defined with class centers of 10 to 60 cm and intervals of 2 cm for the elaboration of the assortment table. The Forest Assortment Analysis, Simulation and Optimization System was developed with Mixed Integer Linear Programming with two main modules, Log Trace Module and Assortment Optimization Module, and a complementary module for the purpose of estimating dendrometric parameters, managing the exchanging information and presenting the results. The scenarios were constructed in the order to simulate the assortment optimization for data from the diameters distribution for three occurrences of thinning and for three different sites. With the Schöepfer equation, three points of change of the T. grandis bole were determined in different positions when compared to that established in the model of Clark III et al. The equation of Clark III et al. is the most adequate to estimate the diameters along the trunk for the species and the adjustment with mixed effect increases the flexibility of the model, and this is more accurate in relation to the tree than in relation to the DBH class. The equation of Clark III et al. with mixed effect is accurate to estimate the profile, especially at the ends of the trunks, and the integral of the function allows estimating the trunk volume and its assortment. The auxiliary functions developed to operate the assortment optimization system enable both data entry and assortment from individual tree data, DBH classes and even stocking. The T. grandis assortment optimization system for volume and income maximization allows the evaluation of several scenarios for the technical and economic planning of forest production in the south-central region of Mato Grosso.

The T. grandis assortment optimization system for volume and income maximization allows the evaluation of several scenarios for the technical and economic planning of forest production in the south-central region of Mato Grosso.O trabalho foi realizado com o objetivo de descrever a forma do tronco e avaliar a receita dos sortimentos de árvores oriundas de plantios deTectona grandis L.f. localizadas na região centro-sul do estado do Mato Grosso, e desenvolver um simulador para fornecer ao produtor florestal informações técnicas e econômicas adequadas ao planejamento do povoamento. A base de dados foi composta por árvores de T. grandis cubadas por diferentes procedimentos e posições de medição, divididas em dez classes de diâmetro à altura do peito (DAP). De forma aleatória, aproximadamente 20 árvores por classe de DAP compuseram a base de dados do ajuste, perfazendo um total de 148 árvores. Modelos não-segmentados, segmentados e de forma variável foram ajustados e a acuracidade das equações foi avaliada pela análise gráfica dos resíduos, coeficiente de determinação ajustado, erro padrão da estimativa em percentagem e análise gráfica dos perfis médios. A melhor equação foi submetida às estratificações por classes de DAP, de fator de forma artificial e de parâmetro de forma “r”, e modificações com base no estudo dos pontos de mudança de forma das árvores. Foi aplicada a modelagem mista na equação selecionada testando os efeitos aleatórios para classe de DAP e para as árvores. Na elaboração da tabela de sortimento foram definidas classes de DAP com os centros de classe de 10 a 60 cm e intervalos de 2 cm. O Sistema de Análise, Simulação e Otimização do Sortimento Florestal foi desenvolvido com a Programação Linear Inteira Mista com dois módulos principais, Módulo de Traçamento das Toras e Módulo de Otimização do Sortimento, e um módulo complementar com a finalidade de estimar parâmetros dendrométricos, gerenciar o intercâmbio de informações e apresentar os resultados. Os cenários foram construídos com a finalidade de simular a otimização de sortimentos para dados provenientes da distribuição de diâmetros para três ocorrências de desbastes e para três diferentes sítios. Com a equação de Schöepfer foram determinados três pontos de mudança da forma de fuste de T. grandis em diferentes posições, em relação ao estabelecido no modelo de Clark III et al. A equação de Clark III et al. é a mais adequada para estimar os diâmetros ao longo do tronco para a espécie e o ajuste com efeito misto aumenta a flexibilidade do modelo, sendo que este é mais preciso em relação à árvore do que em relação à classe diamétrica. A equação de Clark III et al. com efeito misto é acurada para estimar o perfil, principalmente, nas extremidades dos troncos, e a integral da função permite estimar o volume do tronco e do seu sortimento. As funções auxiliares desenvolvidas para operacionalizar o sistema de otimização de sortimento possibilitam tanto a entrada de dados como o próprio sortimento a partir de dados de árvore individual, de classes de diâmetro e ainda do povoamento. O sistema de otimização de sortimento de T. grandis para maximização do volume e da receita permite avaliar diversos cenários para o planejamento técnico e econômico da produção florestal na região centro-sul de Mato Grosso.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESporUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências RuraisPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia FlorestalUFSMBrasilRecursos Florestais e Engenharia FlorestalAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessForma do fusteEfeito mistoSimulaçãoProgramação linear inteira mistaBole formMixed effectSimulationMixed integer linear programmingCNPQ::CIENCIAS AGRARIAS::RECURSOS FLORESTAIS E ENGENHARIA FLORESTALAfilamento e otimização de sortimentos de Tectona grandis Linn.f. para a maximização do volume e da rendaTaper and optimization of Tectona grandis L.f. assortments for the maximization of volume and incomeinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/doctoralThesisFinger, César Augusto Guimarãeshttp://lattes.cnpq.br/4560830097463830Zanon, Magda Lea Bolzanhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/0377878423204331Garcia, Vinícius Jacqueshttp://lattes.cnpq.br/5496717370740068Silva, Emanuel Araújohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/2765651276275384Ferreira, Rinaldo Luiz Caraciolohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/8002371435811689http://lattes.cnpq.br/6638379160087862Rocha, Karen Janones da500200000003600d7098bdf-e84e-4d5e-9560-3e2119ec7613ba6236c1-ae8a-4f65-aa11-30002943908e83cf6aed-be09-4e85-8f06-2ea06040b40814462198-2133-4aa0-9471-b4a6b45b412306bb84de-b1c2-4c7d-8ac4-5bff9f529d6c472451bd-0c51-4767-9812-998831330292reponame:Manancial - Repositório Digital da UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALTES_PPGEF_2018_ROCHA_KAREN.pdfTES_PPGEF_2018_ROCHA_KAREN.pdfTese de Doutoradoapplication/pdf10371956http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/15936/1/TES_PPGEF_2018_ROCHA_KAREN.pdfb0239ab1dc00db8b96dcda305faf6e5dMD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
