Resumo: This thesis, linked to the research line "Educação Especial, Inclusão e Diferença”, of the Doutorado em Educação in the Programa de Pós-graduação em Educação from Universidade Federal de Santa Maria -RS, aims at knowing the potential value of digital Assistive Technology for students with disabilities to graduate. To do so, specifically, to investigate the use and usability of digital assistive technology in the pedagogical context of higher education; to check which Digital AT resources contribute with the participation of students in graduate studies; to identify, together with students with disabilities, which are the wishes and possibilities that may be contemplated from the use of digital AT, as well as to cross the potentialities and limitations of the characteristics of people with disabilities in view of the need to develop new digital technologies in the academic field. With these purposes, it is defended the thesis that the presence of digital AT, in the academic path of students with disabilities, enhances the realization of dreams, desires, the longing to move forward with their studies, providing opportunities for entry, participation and successful completion in graduate studies stricto sensu. This is a qualitative, exploratory research, of the case study type, based on a referential in four theoretical axes, comprising People with Disabilities and the Políticas Públicas de Inclusão, Higher Education in the context of inclusion, digital assistive technology and the meaning of dreams, wishes and possibilities of the student with disability in the graduate course. The research subjects are students with disabilities registered at the Subdivisão de Acessibilidade from UFSM; being them, in the condition of undergraduate students, post-graduates and graduates from stricto sensu post-graduation courses. The instruments for data collection are two questionnaires sent through the Google Form platform and interviews conducted with the help of Meet and WhatsApp platforms. All the procedures were carried out upon Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido signed by the participants, respecting the ethical precepts of research with human beings. The analysis of the data collected was performed based on the content analysis Bardin (2011), opting for the categorical technique. The considerations arising from the analysis and discussion of results were favorable to the objectives and meeting the initial hypotheses of the study. Thus, it is verified that there are technologies not yet explored and/or developed that could facilitate the learning and the trajectory of people with disabilities in graduate courses, just as it is possible to find subsidies for the development and improvement of digital AT, in the pedagogical context, from the suggestions of students with disabilities, participants and graduates of undergraduate and graduate courses; that the entry, participation and completion of students with disabilities in graduate courses is related to the usability of AT and it is also noticed an effective relationship between the concepts of dream, desire and possibilities in the educational trajectory of students with disabilities. It is believed that this research can contribute to studies, reflections and discoveries of new inclusive strategies - represented by digital assistive technology - in the equitable sense, capable of collaborating with the realization of dreams and desires of students with disabilities in qualifying in graduate studies.

Para tanto, especificamente, investigar o uso e usabilidade da tecnologia assistiva digital no contexto pedagógico da educação superior; verificar quais recursos de TA Digital contribuem com a participação de estudantes na pós-graduação; identificar junto aos estudantes com deficiência quais os anseios e possibilidades que podem ser contempladas a partir do uso da TA digital, bem como entrecruzar as potencialidades e limitações das características das pessoas com deficiência em vista da necessidade de desenvolver novas tecnologias digitais no âmbito acadêmico.Com esses propósitos, defende-se a tese de que a presença da TA digital, na trajetória acadêmica dos estudantes com deficiência, potencializa a realização dos sonhos, desejos, dos anseios de seguir adiante com os estudos, oportunizando ingresso, participação e conclusão com êxito na pós-graduação stricto sensu. A pesquisa de cunho qualitativo, exploratório, do tipo estudo de caso, parte de um referencial em quatro eixos teóricos, contemplando as Pessoas com Deficiência e as Políticas Públicas de Inclusão, a Educação Superior no contexto da inclusão, a tecnologia assistiva digital e a significação dos sonhos, desejos e possibilidades do estudante com deficiência na pós-graduação. Os sujeitos da pesquisa são estudantes com deficiência cadastrados na Subdivisão de Acessibilidade da UFSM; estando eles, na condição de graduandos, pós-graduandos e egressos de pós-graduação stricto sensu. Os instrumentos para coleta de dados são dois questionários enviados por meio da plataforma Google Form e entrevista realizada com auxílio das plataformas Meet e WhatsApp. Todos os procedimentos concretizados mediante Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido, assinado pelos participantes, respeitando os preceitos éticos da pesquisa com seres humanos. A análise dos dados coletados foi realizada com base na análise de conteúdo Bardin (2011), optando-se pela técnica categorial. As considerações advindas da análise e discussão de resultados foram favoráveis aos objetivos e ao encontro das hipóteses iniciais do estudo. Assim, verifica-se que existem tecnologias ainda não exploradas e/ou desenvolvidas que poderiam facilitar a aprendizagem e a trajetória das pessoas com deficiência nos cursos de pós-graduação, da mesma forma que é possível encontrar subsídios para o desenvolvimento e aprimoramento de TA digital, no contexto pedagógico, a partir das sugestões de estudantes com deficiência, participantes e egressos de cursos de graduação e pós-graduação; que o ingresso, participação e conclusão de estudantes com deficiência na pós-graduação está relacionado à usabilidade das TA e ainda percebe-se uma relação efetiva entre os conceitos de sonho, desejo e possibilidades na trajetória educacional dos estudantes com deficiência. Acredita-se que essa pesquisa pode contribuir com estudos, reflexões e descobertas de novas estratégias inclusivas - representadas pela tecnologia assistiva digital - no sentido equitativo, capazes de colaborar com a realização de sonhos e desejos dos estudantes com deficiência em qualificar-se na pós-graduação.porUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de EducaçãoPrograma de Pós-Graduação em EducaçãoUFSMBrasilEducaçãoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessDeficiênciaPós-graduaçãoEnsino superiorTecnologia assistivaDisabilityPostgraduationHigher educationAssistive technologyCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAODa graduação à pós-graduação: valor potencial dos recursos de tecnologia assistiva digital na trajetória acadêmica do estudante com deficiênciaFrom undergraduate to graduate: potential value of digital assistive technology resources in the academic path of students with disabilitiesinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/doctoralThesisPavão, Sílvia Maria de Oliveirahttp://lattes.cnpq.br/6934897603622261Pavão, Ana Cláudia OliveiraSouza, Carmen Rosane SegattoCostas, Fabiane Adela TonettoMarquezan, Lorena Ines PeteriniOliveira, Maria Angélica Figueiredohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/9097507951023038Picada, Ângela Balbina Neves7008000000066006006006006006006006004c183ab0-9c3e-4891-bad4-8943e54ebcf11a1eeaa2-ce10-4180-8554-1fa60c69637a1d05ecda-a6c6-4bd5-8410-d3d51f141a63ffbd424c-b31b-4156-9b16-a756eae680c53fc88fdf-90f2-46e2-a0c2-940a806a93e75fb30942-050a-4e2c-b908-abedbf9a7bb573c36b4a-d3f6-4dfb-8255-b2d841d11fa2reponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações do UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMCC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
