Resumo: | The brown stink bug, Euschistus heros (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae), is the main pest of the soybean crop. Its control is carried out mainly with chemical insecticides, but in the last year products based on entomopathogenic fungi were registered for the management of this pest. However, the expansion of biological control of this pest still requires many studies. The objective of this work was to evaluate methods of inoculation of two isolates of Beauveria bassiana (UFSM 1 and UFSM 2) on the stink bug E. heros and to evaluate the compatibility of one of the isolate (UFSM 1) with different insecticides and adjuvants used for its control. Suspensions with 1x101, 1x103, 1x105, 1x107 e 1x109 conidia mL-1 of which UFSM 1 and UFSM 2 were applied to insects by dorsal contact, tarsal contact and immersion methods. The compatibility of the products with the UFSM 1 isolate was obtained based on vegetative growth and conidia production. The highest mortalities occurred in the highest concentration, which were for the UFSM 1 isolate of 91%, 66% and 58% for the immersion, dorsal contact and tarsal contact methods, respectively. For the UFSM 2 isolate, this mortality was 93%, 71% and 66%, respectively. The products Extremo®, IOP®, Spray Oil®, Engeo Pleno S®, Connect® and Fastac Duo® were considered compatible with the isolate UFSM 1, while the TA35 Gold® and Veget'Oil® products were considered toxic and moderately toxic, respectively. Dorsal contact and tarsal contact inoculation methods were similar in causing death of E. heros. UFSM 1 is compatible with six of the eight agrochemicals tested. |

Seu controle é realizado principalmente com inseticidas químicos, mas no último ano produtos à base de fungos entomopatogênicos foram registrados para o manejo dessa praga. Porém, a expansão do controle biológico desta praga demanda ainda muitos estudos. O objetivo desse trabalho foi avaliar métodos de inoculação de dois isolados de Beauveria bassiana (UFSM 1 e UFSM 2) no percevejo E. heros e avaliar a compatibilidade de um dos isolados (UFSM 1) com diferentes inseticidas e adjuvantes utilizados para seu controle. As suspensões com 1x101, 1x103, 1x105, 1x107 e 1x109 conídios mL-1 dos isolados UFSM 1 e UFSM 2 foram aplicadas nos insetos por métodos de contato dorsal, contato tarsal e imersão. A compatibilidade dos produtos com o isolado UFSM 1 foi calculada com base no crescimento vegetativo e na produção de conídios. As maiores mortalidades ocorreram na maior concentração, que foram para o isolado UFSM 1 de 91%, 66% e 58% para os métodos de imersão, contato dorsal e contato tarsal, respectivamente. Para o isolado UFSM 2, esta mortalidade foi de 93%, 71% e 66%, respectivamente. Os produtos Extremo®, IOP®, Spray Oil®, Engeo Pleno S®, Connect® e Fastac Duo® foram considerados compatíveis com o isolado UFSM 1, enquanto que os produtos TA35 Gold® e Veget’Oil® foram considerados tóxicos e moderadamente tóxico, respectivamente. Os métodos de inoculação por contato dorsal e contato tarsal apresentaram eficiência semelhante em causar morte do E. heros. O isolado UFSM 1 apresenta compatibilidade com seis dos oito agroquímicos avaliados.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESporUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências RuraisPrograma de Pós-Graduação em AgronomiaUFSMBrasilAgronomiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessPercevejo-marromFungo entomopatogênicoControle biológicoBrown stink bugEntomopathogenic fungiBiological controlCNPQ::CIENCIAS AGRARIAS::AGRONOMIAMétodos de inoculação de Beauveria bassiana no percevejo Euschistus heros e compatibilidade com inseticidas químicos e adjuvantesinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisGuedes, Jerson Carushttp://lattes.cnpq.br/0846418627719511Jacques, Rodrigo Josemar SeminotiReis, Cristiane Bianchi Loureiro doshttp://lattes.cnpq.br/8294444126550217Stacke, Regina Sonete5001000000096006006006006006bff43b3-cde9-46f2-b4e9-a44d8cae942f4c7ba01a-5e9f-4da9-892a-ea9fc66d74edda4dd5af-943f-4a59-a688-cbb4ef14d9b1b0cc9e6f-dec9-44c1-a4bf-7fc108a4811dreponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações do UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMCC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
