Resumo: | In the modernization process of agriculture, which was implemented and encouraged in Brazil since the 1960s, was conformed a hierarchical model of technical assistance, the diffusionist-innovative model, from which the rural extension agents started propagating that traditional agriculture models, practiced by settlers, were backward, inefficient and archaic, and should be replaced by the practice of a “modern” and efficient agriculture in which would be used, starting from the appropriate technical guidance and credit acquired from banks, machines, equipments and industrial inputs. Against the authoritarian methodology of guidance which was adopted by rural extension agents, the social movements from camp built another model based on your experiences and some of them have incorporated agroecology as a model for agriculture. Considering that, this research aims to analyze the mediation relations between ecological farming families, agricultural technicians and leaders linked to Missões Nucleus from Ecovida Agroecology Network, given that these agents propose to build horizontal relations. To carry out this research documentary records were consulted, interviews and observations were made during the meetings and activities in which participated througouth the year 2017. The results of the study reveal that the agricultural technicians and leaders of the Missões Nucleus seek to reshape their practices based on the experiences of ecological farming families. In technical assistance are made suggestions about ecological management and crops; workshops are held to enable farmers to master production of organic inputs; and field days in which the most experienced farmers are put in contact with those who seek to solve their production problems. The activities of exchange of experience held at regular meetings among groups of ecological families reveal that farmer-to-farmer learning is highlighted and contributes to more dialogic and participatory technical assistance work. However, even though in practice of technical assistance the agronomists reformulate their academic knowledge in interaction with ecological families, there is interdependence and asymmetry in relationships that are marked by a variable balance of power. The leaders of the Nucleus Missões have different social insertions and in their trajectories conformed cultural and symbolic capitals that allow them to enforce the rules and regulations. This does not prevent farmers from putting up resistance. |

However, even though in practice of technical assistance the agronomists reformulate their academic knowledge in interaction with ecological families, there is interdependence and asymmetry in relationships that are marked by a variable balance of power. The leaders of the Nucleus Missões have different social insertions and in their trajectories conformed cultural and symbolic capitals that allow them to enforce the rules and regulations. This does not prevent farmers from putting up resistance.No processo de modernização de base técnica da agricultura, que foi implementado e incentivado no Brasil a partir da década de 1960, foi conformado um modelo hierárquico de assistência técnica, o modelo difusionista-inovador, a partir do qual os agentes de extensão rural passaram a propagar que os modelos de agricultura tradicional, praticados pelos colonos, eram atrasados, ineficientes e arcaicos, sendo que deveriam ser substituídos pela prática de uma agricultura “moderna” e eficiente na qual se faria uso, a partir da orientação técnica adequada e do crédito adquirido junto aos bancos, de máquinas, equipamentos e insumos industrializados. Frente à metodologia impositiva de orientação que passou a ser adotada pelos agentes de extensão rural, os movimentos sociais do campo construíram outro modelo baseado em suas experiências e alguns deles incorporaram a agroecologia como modelo para a agricultura. Considerando esse cenário, essa pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar as relações de mediação entre as famílias agricultoras ecologistas, os técnicos e dirigentes ligados ao Núcleo Missões da Rede Ecovida de Agroecologia, tendo em vista que esses agentes se propõem a construir relações horizontais. Para realizar essa investigação foram consultados registros documentais, realizadas entrevistas e observações durante reuniões e atividades das quais se participou ao longo do ano de 2017. Os resultados do trabalho revelam que os técnicos e dirigentes do Núcleo Missões procuram reformular suas práticas com base nas experiências desenvolvidas pelas famílias agricultoras ecologistas. Na assistência técnica são feitas sugestões sobre o manejo ecológico e os cultivos; são realizadas oficinas para que os agricultores dominem a produção de insumos orgânicos; e dias de campo nos quais os agricultores mais experientes são colocados em contato com aqueles que procuram resolver seus problemas de produção. As atividades de troca de experiência realizadas nas reuniões periódicas entre os grupos de famílias ecologistas revelam que o aprendizado de agricultor para agricultor recebe destaque e contribui para um trabalho de assistência técnica mais dialógico e participativo. Contudo, mesmo que na prática da assistência técnica os agrônomos reformulem seus conhecimentos acadêmicos na interação com as famílias ecologistas, existe interdependência e assimetria em relações que são marcadas por um equilíbrio variável de poder. Os dirigentes do Núcleo Missões possuem inserções sociais distintas e em suas trajetórias conformaram capitais culturais e simbólicos que lhes permitem cobrar o cumprimento das normas e regulamentos. O que não impede que os agricultores oponham resistências.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESporUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências Sociais e HumanasPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Ciências SociaisUFSMBrasilSociologiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessAgroecologiaMediação socialPoderCertificação participativaRede Ecovida de AgroecologiaEcovida Agroecology NetworkAgroecologySocial mediationPowerParticipatory certificationCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::SOCIOLOGIASaber, conhecimento e poder: relações de mediação entre agricultores ecologistas e técnicos no Núcleo Missões da Rede Ecovida de AgroecologiaKnowing, knowledge and power: mediation relations between ecologist farmers and agricultural technicians in Missões Nucleus from Ecovida Agroecology Networkinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisPicolotto, Everton Lazzarettihttp://lattes.cnpq.br/5536778224404595Mayer, Ricardohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/8290536763719882Oliveira, Valter Lucio dehttp://lattes.cnpq.br/0407753156463593http://lattes.cnpq.br/0816381194246683Bremm, Cristina7002000000096005401130c-a16a-45f6-8f0f-166dbbb57885e40289bb-c658-4336-9563-ed655f1ab705ba585280-8163-467a-a209-d9ae10034a30da104243-c4ed-41f1-b36e-6fef71d6470breponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações do UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMLICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
