Resumo: This paper presents a research in the visual arts, specifically in the field of photography, considering the relationship of art and technology. The poetic research focuses on underwater photography and drawing up fictional scenes. The dissertative text begins with a historical survey in relation to photography and its relationship with art, relying primarily on the means of capturing images by cameras. A survey data is presented since the first attempts and the fact that early experiences with underwater photography. Data in relation to photography as video, are related to evidence that even having a closer relationship with biology, cameras produced to the aquatic environment, they presented as a tool for production of artistic material. Artistic productions working with the issue of underwater photography features or use of this environment are analyzed in their practices. For this dissertation addressed two series of photographs and a video of my research in visual poetics that represent differently, everyday scenes displaced to the aquatic environment. In this series discusses the concept of aesthetics of photography on the action of water, as the visibility, fiction and temporality in photographic images and videos.

A investigação poética concentra-se na fotografia submersa e na elaboração de cenas ficcionais. O texto dissertativo inicia com um levantamento histórico em relação à fotografia e sua relação com a arte, baseando-se inicialmente nos meios de captação de imagens por aparelhos fotográficos. É apresentado um levantamento de dados desde as primeiras tentativas e o início de fato das experiências com a fotografia subaquática. Dados em relação à fotografia, como em vídeo, são relacionados a fim de evidenciar que, mesmo possuindo uma proximidade maior com a área da biologia, aparelhos fotográficos produzidos para o ambiente aquático, foram também usados como ferramenta para produção de material artístico. São analisadas produções artísticas que tratam a questão da fotografia submersa ou que utilizam características deste ambiente em suas práticas. Para esta dissertação são abordadas duas séries de fotografias e uma de vídeos de minha pesquisa em poéticas visuais que representam, de maneira distinta, cenas cotidianas deslocadas para o ambiente aquático.
