Na gestão, a competência liderança faz parte desse processo, a liderança é uma habilidade de conduzir as pessoas em aspectos motivacionais e comportamentais de acordo com suas ideias ou objetivos organizacionais das instituições. A identificação dos estilos de liderança dos enfermeiros, poderá auxiliar e subsidiar os gestores dos hospitais universitários federais na tomada de decisões, gestão de conflitos e aprimorar as ações pautadas no desenvolvimento de competências e habilidades no gerenciamento da enfermagem, o qual irá melhorar a assistência do cuidado e o fortalecimento do Sistema Único de Saúde. Esta dissertação está vinculada ao Grupo de Pesquisa Trabalho, Saúde, Educação e Enfermagem. Desse modo elencou-se como pergunta de pesquisa deste trabalho: Quais os estilos de liderança dos enfermeiros de um hospital universitário? Tem-se como objetivos gerais: identificar os estilos de liderança dos enfermeiros de um hospital universitário; descrever as características sócio demográficas dos enfermeiros; analisar as principais características dos estilos de liderança dos enfermeiros do hospital universitário. Trata-se de uma pesquisa quantitativa correlacional descritiva com corte transversal, foi utilizado um questionário com base na teoria Grid Gerencial, no período de maio a outubro de 2018 os participantes do estudo foram 201 enfermeiros do Hospital Universitários de Santa Maria. Para organização e análise dos dados, as informações obtidas foram tabuladas em planilha eletrônica Excel e analisadas através do software Statistic Package for Social Sciences versão 2.0. Os preceitos éticos foram baseados na Resolução nº 466/2012.Os resultados identificaram uma amostra de 201 enfermeiros, desses verifica-se que a maioria era do sexo feminino (n=176; 88%), quando questionados sobre o preparo para o exercício da liderança na graduação a maioria referiu que sim, que houve preparo (n=160; 81%), referente a pergunta, sobre o nível da pós graduação, especialização (n=111; 56%), mestrado (n=55; 28%), doutorado (n=18; 9%) e sem pós graduação (n=15; 8,0%). Quanto ao tipo de regime de trabalho, Regime de Jurídico Único (n=82; 41%) e Consolidação das Leis Trabalhistas (n=117; 59%). Na dimensão iniciativa o estilo de liderança dominante é de 9,1 (Gerência com Autoridade/Obediência) com 34,7% e o subdominante é 5,5(Gerência do Homem Organizacional) com 28,0%, na dimensão investigação o estilo de liderança dominante foi de 9,9 (Gerência em Equipe) com 85,1% e subdominante 1,9 com 7,0%, na dimensão posicionamento o estilo dominante é 5,5 (52%) e subdominante 9,9 (42%) dimensão conflitos o estilo de liderança que predominou é o 5,5 com 35%, subdominante 1,9(Gerência de Clube Campestre) com 38%, dimensões tomada de decisão o dominante é o 9,9 com 69% e o subdominante 1,9 com 22%, dimensão critica o dominante é 9,1 com 53% e o subdominante 1,9 com 28%. Com o intuito de produzir conhecimento científico sobre os estilos de liderança, buscou-se também identificar as principais características dos enfermeiros e relacionar com os estilos de liderança, a fim de identificar relações significativas. Essas relações irão auxiliar no desenvolvimento da liderança nas instituições de saúde e também ampliar a visibilidade do enfermeiro no gerenciamento em enfermagem e nas tomadas de decisões frente a equipe.porUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências da SaúdePrograma de Pós-Graduação em EnfermagemUFSMBrasilEnfermagemAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessLiderançaEnfermagemAdministração hospitalarGestão em saúdeLeadershipNursingHospital administrationHealth managementCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::ENFERMAGEMEstilos de liderança dos enfermeiros de um hospital universitárioStyles of nurses’ leadership of a university hospitalinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisLima, Suzinara Beatriz Soares dehttp://lattes.cnpq.br/6711164523602200Lopes, Luis Felipe DiasXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXSantos, José Luis Guedes dosXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXCosta, Valdecir Zavarese daXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/3795807620683444Fonseca, Dienifer Fortes da4004000000006009ec774b8-8966-4092-aae8-380eaeddbedc5d528a91-8e7f-492d-adde-49b8934fbcae7728f365-7f0f-4899-a42a-dd90bc6c0921f8369557-c33d-4363-bd82-c391a2e938978c648925-1419-4d5d-92af-d1d20b545dbfreponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações do UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGENFERMAGEM_2019_FONSECA_DIENIFER.pdfDIS_PPGENFERMAGEM_2019_FONSECA_DIENIFER.pdfDissertação de Mestradoapplication/pdf1003942http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/20674/1/DIS_PPGENFERMAGEM_2019_FONSECA_DIENIFER.pdfb4ccbc1a64feec1925dda5e0799163d4MD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
