Resumo: | This thesis aimed to understand how the consumption practices related to the body and weight loss are experienced in women’s everyday life, in the Digital Age. Therefore, we carried out 2 studies: “Body, beauty and women: reflections about the body cult in the digital age” and “Fat body and slim body in the Digital Age: analyzing logical narratives on a weight loss blog. On the first study, it was made a reflection based on articles surveyed on LILACS and SciELO database, related to the research’s object (body, beauty and women). Applying content analysis three axes were created: a) studies on body’s representations, b) studies with women or women and men over 18 years old, and c) studies on goods consumption/habits related to the body cult, like diets and exercises. On the second study, we research testimonies regarding the experience of women that went through the weight loss process posted in a blog. The assumptions of the Critical Social Psychology and the narrative analysis of Patrick Charaudeau supported the analysis. As results, we found out that people don’t consume only goods or habits to achieve the thin body, but the thin body can be consumed itself, and the weight loss don’t get restricted to body modification only, going further, involving a new way to relate to your own self, others and the world. |

Para tanto, elaboramos 2 artigos: “Corpo, beleza e mulheres: reflexões sobre o culto ao corpo na era das conexões” e “Corpo gordo e corpo magro na era das conexões: analisando lógicas narrativas em um blog de emagrecimento”. No primeiro artigo, foi realizada uma reflexão baseada em artigos pesquisados nas plataformas SciELO e LILACS, relacionados ao objeto desta pesquisa (corpo, beleza e mulheres). Foi realizada análise de conteúdo 3 eixos foram criados: a) estudos sobre representações do corpo, b) estudos com mulheres ou mulheres e homens com mais de 18 anos e c) estudos sobre o consumo de produtos e hábitos relacionados ao culto ao corpo, como dietas e exercícios físicos. No segundo artigo, pesquisamos depoimentos a respeito da experiência de mulheres que passaram pelo processo de emagrecimento postados em um blog. Os pressupostos da Psicologia Social Crítica e da proposta da análise narrativa de Patrick Charaudeau sustentaram as análises. Como achados gerais, temos que as pessoas não consomem apenas produtos ou hábitos relacionados ao corpo, mas o próprio corpo magro pode ser consumido. Ainda, o emagrecimento não se restringe apenas a mudanças corporais, mas vai além, envolvendo uma nova forma de as pessoas se relacionarem consigo mesmas, com os outros e com o mundo.porUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências Sociais e HumanasPrograma de Pós-Graduação em PsicologiaUFSMBrasilPsicologiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessPsicologia socialCorpoMulheresConsumoWeight lossEmagrecimentoCritical social psychologyBodyWomenConsumptionCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::PSICOLOGIAVozes da estética na era das conexões: sobre corpo, consumo e emagrecimentoVoices of aesthetics on virtual environment: body, consumption and weight lossinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisRoso, Adrianehttp://lattes.cnpq.br/5781004524826262Pizzinato, Adolfohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/7902507174864967Santos, Samara Silva doshttp://lattes.cnpq.br/1315602265197011http://lattes.cnpq.br/7465544303653263Brum, Luana Martins de700700000001600af1d6cdb-4330-4705-bd00-18eedf4c98076d0dd769-797a-485d-9075-d42bb303618f80725f12-6a89-479f-a431-f1d074645632cded38bd-2336-44ea-b78c-76c36c9dbf64reponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações do UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGPSICOLOGIA_2016_BRUM_LUANA.pdfDIS_PPGPSICOLOGIA_2016_BRUM_LUANA.pdfDissertação de Mestradoapplication/pdf1221365http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/18860/1/DIS_PPGPSICOLOGIA_2016_BRUM_LUANA.pdffcf23c02ad2e5648c44aff4454adf59cMD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
