Consórcio milho-braquiária: arranjos de plantio e formas de distribuição do adubo nitrogenado

Two experiments were accomplished in the experimental station of Coimbra-UFV in the agricultural year of 2004/2005, with the objective of evaluating the effects of plantation arrangements and the way of distribution of the nitrogenized fertilization in the consortium between Brachiaria brizantha and the hybrid of corn AG 9010 and A4646. The experiments involving each hybrid were separately appraised in block delineations at random, with four repetitions in factorial arrangement: two arrangements of plantation of the Brachiaria brizantha (a B. brizantha line in the interlineation of the corn and another in the line of the corn, or two lines in the interlineation of the corn with spacing to each other of 50cm and located to 25cm of the line of corn plantation) and three manners of application of the nitrogenized fertilizer (120kg.ha-1 of nitrogen applied in the line of corn plantation when the same presented four leaves or 120kg.ha-1 applied in a parceled out way, applied half when the corn presented four leaves and half with eight leaves) added with two more treatments composed by corn in monocultivation and braquiária in monocultivation, disposed in portions of six meters in length with spacing of 1,0m among the corn rows. The productivity of hybrid AG 9010 was not influenced by the manners of application of the nitrogenized fertilizer in the two appraised plantation arrangements of B. brizantha. However the B. brizantha presented larger yield when planted in the arrangement of two lines in the interlineation of the corn. The hybrid A4646 presented reduction in its productivity when the B. brizantha was planted in the line and in the interlineation of the corn. This arrangement caused a larger production of B. brizantha biomass. In the arrangement of plantation of two B. brizantha lines in the interlineation of the corn, the parceling of the nitrogenized fertilization increased the production of forage biomass.
