A significação do trabalho e da aposentadoria: o caso dos servidores da Universidade Federal de Viçosa

Resumo: The problem of this research has been measured in the challenges presented to the present society related to the growth of retirements as a consequence of life expectance increase experienced worldwide. It was considered that a huge part of adaptation to retirement will directly depend on the meaning which is given by the individual to work, his/her involvement to it, the meaning attributed to retirement and the expectations and limitations related to well-being in this transition moment. The study was conducted in the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), situated in the city of Viçosa, MG. Its principal aim was to perform an analysis in the signification of labor, retirement and well-being in retirement among professionals who are close to this process, considering the levels of job functions, viewing to identify proximity and divergence points, considering the function and the schooling level of the participants in order to subsidize the planning of retirement preparation programs (PPA) to public servers in the Federal Universities ambit. The study may be considered qualitative and descriptive and the data has been obtained utilizing the semi-structured interview and analyzed according to the discourse analysis proposed by Patrick Chareudeau. 33 servers were interviewed and distributed in the following way: 05 teachers, 05 administrative technicians in level A, 07 in level B, 07 in level C, 04 in level D and 05 in level E. The results showed there is a strong positive subjective signification presented by interviewees and an important emotional entailment, demonstrating satisfaction and involvement with work and the company. Most of the participants recognized retirement as an opportunity to obtain gains, such as freedom from labor responsibility and having more time for leisure and relationships . Nevertheless, still it is evident the fear and insecurity in face of the transition, what was strongly marked by the emphasis on the losses of the tangible aspects of labor and the emotional aspects of labor . The factors perceived as essential to retirement well-being warranty were health and financial tranquility, which are linked to the dimension risk factors and surviving. The factors considered positive related to population well-being were education, family relationship, health and engagement in cultural and leisure activities. Factors such as post-retirement work perspective, financial situation, lack of retirement institutional responsibility knowledge and social relationships predict difficulties in the process of transition and it was evidenced the importance of including the family in the PPA. In this sense, it is concluded the need of pondering onto the importance of an effective PPA which follows up the server in the organization during his career, in order to open other perspectives, beyond the work and consequently prepare the individual to the disconnection moment. It is also necessary the access of the family to the PPA, so that they can get the benefits of the eventual gains appeased by the Program, once the factors which will affect the individual reflect directly in the family. It is also concluded that studies like these, may help in the PPAs planning focused on suitable factors to each population, making possible to reach a wider adhesion to the programs and consequently an improvement of well-being and life quality both individual and family within this process.

Considerou-se que grande parte da adaptação à aposentadoria irá depender diretamente do significado que o indivíduo dá ao trabalho, de seu envolvimento com ele, do significado atribuído à aposentadoria e às expectativas e das limitações com relação ao bem-estar neste momento de transição. O estudo, realizado na Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV), localizada na cidade de Viçosa, MG, teve como principal objetivo realizar uma análise da significação do trabalho, da aposentadoria e do bem-estar na aposentadoria entre profissionais que estão próximos desse processo. Foram considerados os níveis de classificação de cargos, visando identificar os pontos de proximidade e divergência, bem como cargo e o nível de escolaridade dos participantes, para subsidiar o planejamento de programas de preparação para a aposentadoria (PPA) no serviço público, no âmbito das Universidades Federais. O estudo pode ser considerado qualitativo e descritivo. Os dados foram obtidos utilizando-se a entrevista semiestruturada e analisados conforme a análise do discurso proposta por Patrick Chareudeau. Foram entrevistados 33 servidores, distribuídos da seguinte forma: cinco docentes, cinco técnico administrativos do nível A, sete do nível B, sete do nível C, quatro do nível D e cinco do nível E. De acordo com os resultados, há forte significação subjetiva positiva apresentada pelos entrevistados e importante vínculo emocional, demonstrando satisfação e envolvimento deles com o trabalho e a organização. A maioria dos participantes reconheceu na aposentadoria a oportunidade de obter ganhos, como liberdade das responsabilidades do trabalho e ter mais tempo para o lazer e relacionamentos . Porém, ainda é evidente o medo e a insegurança frente à transição, o que foi marcado pela ênfase nas perdas dos aspectos tangíveis do trabalho e dos aspectos emocionais do trabalho . Os fatores percebidos como essenciais para a garantia do bem-estar na aposentadoria foram saúde e tranquilidade financeira, que estão ligados à dimensão fatores de risco e sobrevivência. Os fatores considerados como positivos em relação ao bem-estar para a população foram a educação, o relacionamento familiar, a saúde e o engajamento em atividades culturais e de lazer. Fatores como a perspectiva de trabalho pós-aposentadoria, a situação financeira, a falta de conhecimento da responsabilidade institucional na aposentadoria e os relacionamentos sociais predizem dificuldades no processo de transição, o que evidencia a importância da inclusão da família no PPA. Nesse sentido, faz-se necessário refletir a respeito da importância de um PPA efetivo e que acompanhe o servidor na organização durante sua carreira, para abrir perspectivas além do trabalho, e, consequentemente, preparar o indivíduo para quando ocorrer o desligamento. Também é necessário que a família tenha acesso ao PPA, para que possa se beneficiar dos eventuais ganhos propiciados pelo Programa, visto que os fatores que irão afetar o indivíduo possuem reflexo direto na família.
