Níveis dietéticos de leucina, de histidina e de fenilalanina + tirosina para frangos de corte na fase inicial

Three experiments were made in the poultry section of the Animal Husbandry Department of the Viçosa Federal University to study different ratios of leucine, phenylalanine + tyrosine and digestible histidine/lysine in Cobb 500 male broilers in the initial phase (8 to 17 days of age). In the three experiments a randomly experimental design was used, with five ratios of each amino acid with the digestible lysine and eight repetitions of four birds per experimental unit. The diets were calculated with the nutritional requirements established by Rostagno et al. (2005), except for the tested amino acids (leucine, phenylalanine, + tyrosine and histidine). The evaluated characteristics were weight gain, feed consumption, feed conversion and breast yield with and without bone in grams and as a percentage of the live weight. In the experiment, the leucine had a significant quadratic effect (P < 0,05) of the different ratios with the feed consumption, weight gain, breast weight and yield wit and without bone. The requirement of leucine for an optimal feed conversion was consistently lower than for the other parameters such as weight gain and breast yield with and without bone. The ratio, digestible leucine/lysine recommended for broilers from 8 to 17 days of age is 107%. In the experiment of the phenylalanine + tyrosine, it did not have a significant quadratic effect (P < 0,05) of the different ratios for none of the parameters, nevertheless a lineal effect for weight gain and breast weight with and without bone was shown. It can be concluded that the best ratio was at least 118%, since it cannot be infer over the behavior of the different variables in greater ratios than 118%. In the experiment of histidine there was a significant quadratic effect (P < 0,05) of the different values with the feed conversion, weight and breast yield with and without bone. The histidine requirement for an optimal feed conversion was consistently lower than the parameters for weight gain and breast yield with and without bone. The recommendation for the histidine/lysine ratio was 37%.
