Uso de probiótico em rações de frangos de corte

The experiment was carried out to evaluate the performance of broilers fed diets containing a probiotic based in Bacillus subtilis (DMS 17299 8x105 UFC/g) at two levels (Prob.N1 = 155g/ton; Prob.N2 = 355g/ton). Ross broiler males 880 were used, distributed in a completely randomized block design, with 4 treatments, 10 repetitions and 22 chickens in each experimental unit. The chickens were raised on wood shaving, reutilized from a previous grow out. The birds had been placed in challenge being created in dirty environment. The treatments were: control, probiotic level 1 (Prob.N1), antibiotic (avilamicine), probiótico level 2 (Prob.N2). Weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion, viability and factor production were determined. In the period from 01 to 21 days of age there no significant differences (P>0.05) among the treatments tested for of the variables studied. The 22 to 42 days of age there was observed significant response (P<0,05) in weight gain in the birds that received, Prob.N1, Prob.N2 and avilamicine and if had not observed significant differences (P>0,05) it alimentary conversion in none of the treatments in this phase. Significant effect was observed (P <0.05) in the period from 01 to 42 days of age for weight gain in diets that received Prob.N2 and avilamicine (4,3 % and 3,8% respectively), although between them there was no effect (P>0.05). The feed conversion, the feed intake, production factor and the viability were not influenced by the different aditives tested. The use of the probióticos as much of level 1 as of level 2 they can substitute to the Avilamicina antibiotic in rations for broilers.
