Resumo: Two experiments were conducted to evaluate the levels of lysine and nutrition plans for pigs with high genetic potential for carcass meat deposition, from 21 to 63 days old. In experiment I, we used 144 pigs, 68 barrows and 76 females, commercial hybrids with high genetic potential for carcass meat deposition. Piglets weaned at 21 days of age and with initial weight of 6.15 ± 0.56 kg 6.15 ± 0.56 kg were used. Pigs were allotted in a completely randomized block design, with four treatments, twelve repetitions and three animals (having at least one representative of barrow or female) per experimental unit. The experimental unit was represented by the cage and the formation of blocks was considered as the initial weight. The treatments corresponded to different levels of lysine which consisted of a basal diet and three diets obtained by supplementing the basal diet with L-lysine HCl 78% to replace the starch, resulting experimental diets with levels: 1.200, 1.325, 1.450 and 1.575%. In experiment I, levels of lysine did not influence the daily feed intake (ADFI) and average daily gain (ADG) of animals. It was observed a linear effect of increasing levels of lysine on the daily lysine intake. Feed conversion (F:G) improved linearly with increasing levels of lysine in the diet. However, the data best fit the model Linear Response Plateau, from which it was estimated that the level of digestible lysine for pigs from 21 to 35 days of age is 1.436%. In experiment II, the nutrition plans did not affect the ADFI, ADG and F:G of pigs. Nor was no effect of nutrition plans on the deposition of protein and fat in the carcasses of animals. We conclude that the estimated level of 1.436% digestible lysine corresponding to an intake of 4.25 g of lysine/day provides the best results of feed for pigs with high genetic potential deposition in carcass meat, 21 to 35 days, and the nutrition plan 1.200, 1.100 and 1.000% digestible lysine meets the requirements of pigs with high genetic potential for carcass meat deposition from 21 to 63 days for best results and performance of protein and fat deposition.

No experimento I, foram utilizados 144 leitões, sendo 68 machos castrados e 76 fêmeas, híbridos comerciais, com alto potencial genético para deposição de carne na carcaça. Os leitões desmamados aos 21 dias de idade e com peso inicial de 6,15 ± 0,56 kg foram distribuídos em delineamento experimental de blocos ao acaso composto de quatro tratamentos, doze repetições e três animais (tendo pelo menos um representante de macho castrado ou de fêmea) por unidade experimental. A unidade experimental foi representada pela gaiola e na formação de blocos foi considerado como critério o peso inicial. Os tratamentos corresponderam a diferentes níveis de lisina digestível que foram constituídos de uma ração basal e outras três rações obtidas pela suplementação da ração basal com L-lisina HCl 78% em substituição ao amido, resultando rações experimentais com níveis de: 1,200; 1,325; 1,450 e 1,575 %. No experimento I, os níveis de lisina digestível não influenciaram o consumo de ração diário (CRD) e o ganho de peso diário (GPD) dos animais. Foi observado efeito linear crescente dos níveis de lisina digestível sobre o consumo de lisina diário. A conversão alimentar (CA) melhorou de forma linear com o aumento dos níveis de lisina digestível da ração. Entretanto, os dados se ajustaram melhor pelo modelo Linear Response Plateau, a partir do qual se estimou que o nível de lisina digestível para leitões dos 21 aos 35 dias de idade é de 1,436%. No experimento II, os planos de nutrição não influenciaram o CRD, GPD e a CA dos suínos. Também não foi verificado efeito dos planos de nutrição sobre a deposição de proteína e de gordura nas carcaças dos animais.
