Homeopathy was developed by German physician Samuel Hahnemann in the eighteenth century, between the years 1790 and 1843 It is based on four basic principles: the law of similarity, experimentation with substances in healthy man , minimal and streamlined and only drug doses. Homeopathy is applied in different areas such as veterinary, agriculture, animal science and biology. Is gaining more space as preventive and zootechnical alternative to improve the production and productivity of food of animal origin in organic production and production systems that prevent the full expression of the genetic potential of the species. Two homeopathic remedies were used - Sepia and Calcarea carbonica; and a homeopathic preparation made from the streamlined Thiourea. The Sepia homeopathy is indicated in animals with no heat or poor heat and females who reject the male during estrus. The Calcarea carbonica homeopathy is given to animals with a tendency to slow metabolism and delayed growth. Thiourea is an organic compound having an inhibitory effect on thyroid peroxidase by reducing the production of the hormones triiodothyronine and thyroxine, responsible for changes during the process of metamorphosis of tadpoles. Were evaluated in breeding First maturation of bullfrog (Lithobates catesbeianus) who received Sepia homeopathy and homeopathic preparation Thiourea at concentrations 6 CH, CH 12, 30 CH and 1000 CH, gonadal development , length (cm) and weights: Total (g), paw (g), skin (g), head (g), liver (g), fat body (g), viscera (g), carcass (g) and mortality rate. In bullfrog tadpoles (Lithobates catesbeianus) who received Calcarea carbonica homeopathy and homeopathic preparation Thiourea at concentrations 6 CH , CH 12 , 30 CH and 1000 CH, weight gain (g), mortality rate and time were evaluated metamorphosis. The homeopathy and homeopathic preparation used, caused changes in the breeding and development of tadpoles of bullfrogs. The higher survival rate in the climax of metamorphosis was obtained by the tadpoles treated with Calcarea carbonica. The homeopathic preparation Thiourea caused atrophy of the limbs after the beginning of the climax of metamorphosis, causing the death of approximately 80 % of the tadpoles. The Calcarea carbonica homeopathy and homeopathic preparation Thiourea caused no changes in mean water temperature and medium pH in different treatments . The Sepia 30 CH homeopathy is more suitable for male and female bullfrogs. The homeopathic preparation Thiourea is not indicated for tadpoles.
