The social sciences have often been devoted to the analysis of work in modern society in its various theoretical perspectives.Classical authors of sociological, political and anthropological thoughts, each one in its own way, pointed out the importance of work and of the relationships that have been formed from it to the understanding of society. Nowadays, the technological transformation and restructuring of the productive activity in contemporary society, these have bought changes in labor relation concerned to the new demands of qualification requirements for workers and production organization. This literature also indicates that the Rural World is experiencing a reconfiguration from the technological paradigm no longer being seen as only a space devoted to agricultural activities but also for other activities featuring multifunctional fields which demands new areas and learning from the emergence of new jobs. This study aims to analyze the situation of inclusion/exclusion of young people from the rural area located in Jaceaba- MG, from the areas of technology and skills required in the context of the establishment of an Industrial Facility that requires skilled labor in the city. We had the following objectives: identify the availability access and technological dominance of the young people interviewed; analyze the possibilities and requirements of professional training for these positions arising from the industrialization of the city (Jaceaba MG); identifying the skills acquired by young, analyze the changes occurring in the formulation of their life project in relation to work and housing and verify the employability of rural youth in the context of multifunctionality of the field. We hypothesized that the multifunctionality of the field if not accompanied by new learning and technology fields, can also work as a faction of social exclusion of rural youth, instead of promoting their autonomy. The methodology comprised desk research, literature and field research (interviews). The questionnaires were made in blocks according to the research objectives.
