Resumo: Is settled the need for protection of the goods that compose the cultural patrimony edified of the country, since with the passing of years the buildings feature wear inherent to the passage of time and for its use. Faced to these conditions, the historical buildings demand specialized services of conservation and preservation. The historic buildings of UFRGS, for its turn, remount to the begining of the twentieth century. Are twelve buildings considered cultural patrimony of Rio Grande do Sul. The activities necessary for their preservation demands elevated financial resources. Happens that these were not contemplated, integrally, in the budget of UFRGS in 1999. For such reason, considering the necessity to restoration of their buildings and the inseparable demand for more resources, the UFRGS searched in Law Rouanet and other sources, the extrabudgetary revenue that she needed. Thereby, the present research analyzes the contributions of Rouanet Law for the Project “Rescue of Historical and Cultural Patrimony of UFRGS”, in the period of 1999 to 2013, a case study. It is a descriptive, documental and bibliographical investigation. The financial data, coming from the Sector of Historical Patrimony from UFRGS and the Ministry of Culture, are treated in the form of descriptive statistics. In the period under review, the UFRGS Project raised the amount of R$ 19,406,007.59. With these resources have been restored seven of the twelve historical buildings of the University. The restored buildings are reintegrated into university activities and to the quotidian familiarity of the academic community and society. It found, ultimately, that, of the total funds raised, 54.87% came from the mechanisms to incentive of the Rouanet Law.

Submitted by Leila Silva (leila.silva@unilasalle.edu.br) on 2018-08-06T18:15:06Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Noemia Fatima Rodrigues.pdf: 4499928 bytes, checksum: f9e3e4c0ae6ee60d11f142c97ed1d3c3 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2018-08-06T18:15:06Z (GMT).
