Senilde Alcântara Guanaes.This essay has the focus to address the Guarani indigenous education and the school practices of Indigenous State School Teko Ñemoingo where currently I work as a professor of History and Religious Education (third year). Therefore, the study addresses the knowledge of the Ava Guarani and the school activities and the Ocoy Village. This way, also the indigenous traditional knowledge and practices / school teachings that have worked in the said school, both by indigenous teachers and the non-indigenous. We conclude that the school can contribute to strengthening indigenous cultural Guarani, the way of being, living, thinking and producing meanings. Therefore it should reformulate its content and approach. Thereby, the work aimed to through the experiences and a study of the Guarani culture, contribute to a focused school education for sustainability and citizenship education of students.Esta dissertação tem como foco, abordar a educação indígena Guarani e as práticas escolares do Colégio Estadual Indígena Teko Ñemoingo, onde atualmente trabalho como professor da disciplina de história e ensino religioso (terceiro ano). Para tanto o estudo aborda conhecimentos dos Ava-Guarani e atividades escolares, da Aldeia Ocoy. Deste modo os saberes tradicionais indígenas e práticas/ensinamentos escolares que foram trabalhados na escola citada, pelos professores indígenas e não indígenas. A escola contribui para o fortalecimento cultural indígena Guarani, o modo de ser, viver, pensar e produzir significados, para tanto elaborando conteúdos e abordagem voltados ao Guarani.
