This work justifies itself by the interdependence of those involved in the relationship, for the development of education communication and culture are fundamental. Understand these relationships are fundamental to form emancipated subjects this way society, school and the educative processes will be beneficiated. The aim of this work is to was to have access so that is possible to reflect on the image of media and the relation between Communication and Education for professors of an university, in this case, one faculty of education of an private institution of São Paulo State. When thinking media allied to education we can not take Manichaean way, but consider unveiling of language levels, the questioning of media in the culture and the transformation those could promote in the subjectivity and culture structure, since they contribute to build meaning in the individual performance as the collective and social culture reality. The methodology used in this study was qualitative approach, with option for case study and use of interviews. The results showed the media and communication in the development of the present teaching activities of the investigated subjects, however, with strong technological characteristics and less humanizing. It also became clear the possibility of the relationship between communication and education, though is necessary training and professional development so those can understand and develop the educational-communication with emancipatory potential.
