Resumo: | Yield and grain quality of dual purpose wheat cultivars may fluctuate due to the management, generating lower results than expected. It is sought to know if the application of additional dose of nitrogen, at the beginning of the gleaning, increases the yield of grains and modifies the technological quality in double purpose wheat, regardless of the cuts on vegetable. The experiment was conducted at the Embrapa Trigo experimental field, in Coxilha, RS, Brazil, in 2017. Two dual-purpose wheat cultivars (BRS Tarumã and BRS Pastoreio) were used, three cutting regimes (no cut, one and two cuts). whether or not the application of additional nitrogen fertilization at the beginning of the pebble. The experiment was carried out in a three -phase arrangement, with a randomized block design, in three replications. The data were submitted to analysis of variance and, compared to the Tukey test at 5% of probability. For grain yield, plant height at harvest, mass of one thousand grains, yield (kg.ha-1), number of spikelets / spike, final stand were evaluated, and the weight of the hectoliter, fall number, extraction experimental flour, protein in grain, gluten (strength and gluten index, wet and dry gluten). There was interaction for plant height and grain yield and other quality attributes. In the comparative of the cultivars they presented differences for yield of the grains, whereas the additional nitrogen application was similar in this attribute. For technological quality the genotypes acted differently regarding the regimes of cuts and nitrogen fertilization. |

Busca-se saber então se a aplicação de dose adicional de nitrogênio, no início do espigamento, aumenta o rendimento de grãos e modifica a qualidade tecnológica em trigos duplo propósito, independente do regime de cortes. O experimento foi conduzido no campo experimental da Embrapa Trigo, em Coxilha-RS, em 2017. Foram utilizadas duas cultivares de trigo duplo propósito (BRS Tarumã e BRS Pastoreio), três regimes de cortes (sem corte, um e dois cortes), sendo submetidos ou não a aplicação de adubação nitrogenada adicional no inicio do espigamento. O experimento foi em arranjo trifatorial, com delineamento em blocos ao acaso, em três repetições. Os dados obtidos foram submetidos à análise de variância e, comparados pelo teste de Tukey a 5% de probabilidade, no programa estatístico Sisvar. Para rendimento dos grãos foram avaliados altura da planta na colheita, massa de mil grãos, rendimento (kg.ha-1), número de espiguetas/espiga, estande final, e para qualidade foi analisado o peso do hectolitro, número de queda, extração experimental da farinha, proteína no grão, glúten (força e índice de glúten, glúten úmido e seco). Houve interação para altura da planta e rendimento dos grãos e nos demais atributos de qualidade. No comparativo das cultivares as mesmas apresentaram diferenças para rendimento de grãos, já a aplicação nitrogenada adicional foi semelhante neste atributo.
