Resumo: This essay has as a research purpose the aging by the optics of fashion publicity and it’s image representations on the contemporary occidental society, where the visibility of the longevity and the people insert on this group stand out as active consumers and gain the attention of plenty market segments. Because of this, we will have as a case study Iris Apfel – an important figure on the analysis of the consume, identity and longevity on the fashion segment. On a interdisciplinary perspective, with the intention of a better comprehension of this factor, a digital and bibliographic research was made.

Em razão disto, teremos como estudo de caso Iris Apfel - figura importante na análise do contexto de consumo, identidade e longevidade no segmento de moda.
