The goal of this research is to establish a possible relation between the myth of the Greek goddess Levana and the educator's function in the current days. For this purpose, a general view of what would be the function of every myth will be provided. As an example, the mains myths (Greek mythology, which will be addressed in this article) will be told and correlated to worries and current scenarios. Also, some myths of creation will be presented, in order to clarify the rising of these gods and even the creation of the world from the Roman classical point of view. An important point is the presentation of Levana and her ritual, as well as her social function. Levana is a goddess with many personalities, some of them go as far as opposing the others and this will be explored along the article. After the first chapter, the article will lead to education. Just like it happened with the explanation about the Greek mythology, the education (the Brazilian education, which is also the subject in the article) will be studied from its most different hystorical moments, achievements and scholars. Therefore, the National Plan of Teachers Training, proposed by the Ministry of Education will be presented. It contains the main points socially expected from a teacher - which will be a strong base to relate these expectations to Levana's entity.
