Resumo: The analysis "The Thematic Environmental Technical School High School: reflections from the Environmental Education Program of the Federal Center of Technological Education of Sao Paulo - SP-CEFET" takes into account the characteristics of interdisciplinarity in the process of environmental education. Therefore, it became necessary to review literature on environmental education, including the PCNEM. The review had two objectives: to identify the set of conceptual elements, and seek a significant literature on the concepts and theories representative for the preparation of this research. It became necessary to investigate the issue of interdisciplinarity presented in PCNEM and studies of specific issues and environmental education. Also, bring a study of the rules of Educational Project and the Organization of High School Curriculum of the Federal Center of Technological Education of São Paulo - SP-CEFET. To prepare the subject-object relationship, was chosen the theoretical interdisciplinary case study. Qualitative, this study followed a descriptive line, which allowed the following results: the research indicated, directly or indirectly that among the teachers, is an urgent need for unanimity to include environmental education across disciplines in formal education as a strategy to motivate students. Many teachers resent the lack of training in this area. However, the difficulty for teachers to incorporate into their curriculum content of environmental issues is a factor common to most schools. The lack of motivation in society's interest in environmental issues, perhaps the greatest barriers to the development of environmental education in schools.

Para tanto, tornou-se necessária uma revisão bibliográfica sobre a educação ambiental, inclusive dos PCNEM. A revisão teve dois objetivos: identificar o conjunto de elementos conceituais, e buscar uma literatura significativa sobre os conceitos e as teorias representativas para a elaboração desta pesquisa. Tornou-se necessário também investigar a questão da interdisciplinaridade apresentada nos PCNEM e nos estudos de assuntos específicos e da educação ambiental. De igual modo, traz um estudo do que prevê o Projeto Pedagógico e a Organização Didática do Ensino Médio do Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de São Paulo CEFET-SP. Para elaborar a relação sujeito-objeto, foi escolhida a fundamentação teórica interdisciplinar do estudo de caso. De caráter qualitativo, o presente estudo seguiu a linha descritiva, o que possibilitou os seguintes resultados: a pesquisa indicou, de forma direta ou indireta que, entre os(as) professores(as), é uma unanimidade a urgência de inserir a educação ambiental de forma interdisciplinar na educação formal, como estratégia de motivação para os estudantes. Muitos professores se ressentem da falta de capacitação nessa área. Contudo, a dificuldade dos professores em incorporar ao seu conteúdo curricular as questões ambientais é um fator comum à maioria das escolas.
