Resumo: The Protestant Reformation in England, and whose Puritanism spectrum would permeate the North American colonization and mark the American Protestantism, are the real roots of the Brazilian Presbyterianism that installs itself in MatoGrosso do Sul. Its insertion occurs through a daring missionary project by Ecumenism and missions connection, which results in the creation of the AssociaçãoEvangélica de Catequese dos Índios do Brasil (AECI), whose it was originated the holistic project of the Caiuá Evangelical Mission, in Dourados. Although the establishment of Presbyterianism also occurs in other southern cities of the State, is in Dourados that the Presbyterianism, through its actions in the areas of education, health, politics and, obviously the evangelization, exercises several influences in the society with current influence.

Sua inserção se dá através de um projeto missionário ousado pela conexão de ecumenismo e missões, que resulta na criação da Associação Evangélica de Catequese dos Índios do Brasil (AECI), da qual se originao projeto holístico da Missão Evangélica Caiuá, em Dourados.
