A TV como recurso didático na educação ambiental e formação cidadã: estudo de caso em uma escola privada de ensino fundamental I em São Paulo e uma universidade com TV pública (universitária)

Resumo: The present study aimed to identify the possibility of generation of paradidatic materials on Education for the Environment and Citizen Education through television. For this purpose, it was studied the Education theme trajectory of television in Brazil, since the 50s until the arrival of Digital TV, including the evolution of university TV networks. The theorethical basis was built around Environment and Citizenship scholars as Edgar Morin and Mark Reigotta as well as researchers who studied the theme of TV and Education, focusing on Environmental Education, as is the case of Maria Aparecida Baccega Philippe Pomier Layrargues and Maria Luiza Belloni. Also analyzed were further proposals for the use of television as educational and pedagogical tool, released by several international movements for the preservation of the planet as the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment, Stockholm 1972, and the UN General Assembly in 1983 - the World Commission on Environment and Development (WCED). Through case study, it was analyzed the process of implementation of law 9795/99 which requires the use of such material in the curriculum of elementary schools in Brazil, according to the guidelines of the institution to which the chosen school belongs. The corpus of the research consisted of interviews with teachers and the pedagogical advisor of the private elementary school of Mackenzie Presbyterian School, and through interviews and testimonials from teachers and professionals of the TV and Radio Center of Mackenzie Presbyterian University and Mackenzie TV, using, as method, own screenplays of descriptive and qualitative research. From the content analysis of interviews and researched material, it was possible to identify the actual role of television language in building consistent paradicdatic material with high potential of absorption by students in the classroom, focused on environmental education and awareness building of citizenship for new generations

Para tal, foi estudada a trajetória do tema Educação na televisão no Brasil, desde os anos 50 até a chegada da TV Digital, incluindo a evolução das redes de TVs universitárias. A base teórica foi construída em torno de estudiosos do Meio Ambiente e Cidadania, como Edgar Morin e Marcos Reigotta, e também pesquisadores que estudaram o tema TV e Educação, com foco na Educação Ambiental, como é o caso de Maria Aparecida Baccega, Philippe Pomier Layrargues e Maria Luiza Belloni. Foram analisadas ainda propostas de uso da televisão como ferramenta didático/pedagógica divulgadas por diversos movimentos internacionais a favor da preservação do planeta, como a Conferência das Nações Unidas sobre o Meio Ambiente Humano, Estocolmo 1972 e a Assembléia Geral da ONU em 1983 Comissão Mundial sobre Meio Ambiente e Desenvolvimento (CMMAD). Por meio de estudo de caso, foi analisado o processo de implantação da Lei nº 9.795/99 que obriga a inclusão da educação ambiental na grade curricular das escolas de Ensino Fundamental do Brasil, em consonância com as diretrizes da instituição a que pertence a escola escolhida. O corpus da pesquisa foi constituído por entrevistas com professoras e a orientadora pedagógica da escola privada de Ensino Fundamental I do Colégio Presbiteriano Mackenzie e constituída também por entrevistas e depoimentos de professores e profissionais do Centro de Rádio e TV da Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie e da TV Mackenzie, usando como método, roteiros próprios de pesquisa descritiva qualitativa.
