Resumo: | This research investigates the senses that (how) circus art-educators attribute to body movement, and how these beliefs are articulated in their educational actions. The objective was in fact to their practices through their testimonies and, later on, to explore possibilities for an interlocution between their subjectivities, the concept of education circa and some assumptions of the paradigm of corporeity. To collect this information we used the semi-structured interview and recorded the testimonies for later transcription, in full. How information was organized, and they were extracted as units of meaning more enlightening for our purpose. Based on the information gathered, together with the educators and the theoretical-methodological reference, it is possible to perceive that their works can assume different meanings. However, there was a consensus among these professionals that body movement, not circus, is technical, expressive-communicative and contributes to the development of body awareness. As reflexes made at the end of the work suggest the need to go deeper into the question by proposing new research, so that more clarity of what is to be educated through languages is presented. |

O objetivo foi o de compreender às suas práticas por meio de seus depoimentos para, posteriormente, perscrutar possibilidades de realizar uma interlocução entre suas subjetividades, o conceito de educação circense e alguns pressupostos do paradigma da corporeidade. Para coletar essas informações recorremos à entrevista semiestruturada e gravamos os depoimentos para posterior transcrição, na integra. As informações foram organizadas, e delas foram extraídas as unidades de significado mais esclarecedoras para o nosso objetivo. A partir das informações levantadas, junto aos(as) educadores(as) e o referencial teórico-metodológico, foi possível perceber que os seus trabalhos podem assumir diferentes sentidos. No entanto, houve o consenso, entre esses profissionais, de que o movimento corporal, no circo, é técnico, expressivo-comunicativo e contribui para o desenvolvimento da consciência corporal.
