Estudo retrospectivo do contorno gengival após a instalação de implante osseointegrado imediato nos incidentes de traumatismo dental através da gengimorfometria

Resumo: OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study is to discuss about the maintenance of teeth after trauma and the different factors that may influence on extraction indication. Whem the injured tooth was extracted and replaced by an immediate dental implant with immediate junction, gingimorphometry was used to evaluate gingival contour. MATERIAL AND METHODS: The study included by 16 patients-9 males and 7 females, with an average age of 57,5 years old (28-79 years old) submitted to upper central incisor extraction (10 right incisors and 6 left incisors) due to dental trauma episodes or dental overloading, causing irreparable injury to the dental structure. The follow-up averaged 46 months (82-17 months). CONCLUSION: Literature shows favorable prognosis with success rates above 80% when dental root maintains vitality after dental trauma. Success rates for immediate single tooth implant in this study were 100% for the osseointegration and prostheses. Evaluation of papillae heights directly on patients did not present statistically significant differences on frontal view comparing Control and Experimental Groups. When papillae height and área were evaluated through photographic images results did not present statistically significant differences on frontal view comparing Control and Experimental Groups. Papillae height and area were also evaluated on occlusal view through photographic images and results found statistically significant differences when comparing Control and Experimental Groups.

Nas hipóteses de extração do elemento dental fraturado e instalação de implantes osseointegrados imediatos e restaurações transitórias em função imediata, foram avaliados: o contorno gengival das áreas onde foram instalados implantes através da gengimorfometria. MATERIAL E MÉTODOS: A amostra foi composta por 16 pacientes, nove do gênero masculino e sete do gênero feminino, faixa etária média de 57,5 anos (28-79 anos) submetidos à exodontia de incisivo central na maxila (dez dentes do lado direito e eis do lado esquerdo), devido a episódios de colisão acidental ou carregamento excessivo, causando danos à estrutura dental. O período médio de seguimento foi de 46 meses (82-17 meses) CONCLUSÃO: A literatura demonstra prognóstico favorável com percentual de sucesso acima de 80% quando a polpa se mantém vital nos episódios de fratura radicular. As taxas de sucesso para os implantes ossointegrados imediatos unitários deste trabalho foram de 100% para a osseointegração e para as próteses. A altura das papilas avaliadas diretamente nos paciente não apresentou diferença estatisticamente significante pela norma frontal entre os Grupos Controle e Experimento. A altura e área das papilas avaliadas por imagens não apresentaram diferenças estatisticamente significantes pela norma frontal entre os Grupos Controle e Experimento.
