Resumo: | In the hospital environment, especially in the operating room work, being a shared service resulting from the action of various professionals, has a very importante meaning in their lives that are subject owners perceptions and experiences unique to permeate his entire life inside and outside of this environment. Therefore it is necessary that man is what he does perform, feel satisfied with the chosen activity so that it can meet your expectations and provide quality of life (QOL). In this context, we developed a descriptive and cross-sectional study, to investigate the quality of life of nurses who work in operating rooms of three hospitals in Campo Mourao-PR through the use of two instruments: a socio-demographic questionnaire questionnaire prepared by the researcher and the World Health Organization Quality of Life - WHOQOL-100. The results show high scores for the positive and lower for negative, indicating that the nursing staff of the surgical center that participated in this study have a good level of quality of life, which is in accordance with WHO recommendations that the QV profile is defined by the scores of the WHOQOL-100. It was also found that the worst results were QOL instrument for the category of Nursing Assistants. In this direction, from the point of view of nurses participating in the study, the research infers that although stressful, work in surgical centers is na enriching experience that fosters professional and personal development, therefore quality of life. |

Por isso, é necessário que o homem se realize naquilo que faz, sinta-se satisfeito com a atividade escolhida, de modo que a mesma possa atender à sua expectativa, e propiciar qualidade de vida (QV). Neste contexto, desenvolveu-se um estudo descritivo e transversal, no sentido de investigar a qualidade de vida dos profissionais de enfermagem que atuam em centros cirúrgicos de três hospitais de Campo Mourão-PR, por meio da utilização de dois instrumentos: um questionário sócio demográfico elaborado pela pesquisadora e o questionário da World Health Organization Quality of Life - WHOQOL-100. Os resultados mostram escores altos, para os aspectos positivos e mais baixos para os negativos, indicando que os profissionais de enfermagem do centro cirúrgico que participaram deste estudo possuem um bom nível de qualidade de vida, estando de acordo com as recomendações da OMS de que o perfil de QV é definido pelos escores obtidos do questionário WHOQOL-100. Também se verificou que os piores resultados do instrumento de QV foram para a categoria dos Auxiliares de Enfermagem. Nesta direção, sob o ponto de vista dos profissionais de enfermagem participantes do estudo, a pesquisa infere que apesar de estressante, atuar em centros cirúrgicos é uma experiência enriquecedora que propicia desenvolvimento profissional e pessoal, consequentemente, qualidade de vida.Made available in DSpace on 2015-10-21T10:25:14Z (GMT).
