Resumo em Inglês: The main goal of this investigation is to show up that the articulation among Education, Art, and Politics can face up the process to gender instruments concerning formal Education as it enriches this sensitive dimension that manage to give utter conditions to start a broad formation. This will give conditions to an integral formation. In order to show the importance of such an articulation, this study seeks for Walter Benjamin’s fragments of thinking, found in some of his essays which give trends to a reflexion on infant learning abilities and the mimetic capacity. This ability concerns the sensitive experience that goes on with the relationship among man, nature, and things. According to Benjamin, this relation has been lost during the course of modern times. Yet, this study starts out with the analyses that social structural change implies a new definition on the Education process that comes from the relation among Education, Art, and Politics in order to allow a new definition concerning an alternative which can clear up the importance of sensitive dimension in Education, in Politics, and in life. All those three aspects can be found by Art itself. The methodology is based on the reading of Benjamin’s several books as well as on possible bibliographic contents on Education and Art. They should be linked to the theme of this investigation. By these contents, Walter Benjamin’s historic, political, and cultural elements study has been proceeded to clear up the sensitive dimension transformation in modern times. Plus, from Benjamin’s texts a history of his writings and social, political, and cultural elements have been contextualized. This study aimed to answer to these following specific points: to propose considerations concerning Brazilian contemporary Education in order to contextualize a certain approach; to focus the main changes that occurred in modern society from capitalism; to try and understand, from a historic view point, how modern development changed individual perception; to bring back again Walter Benjamin’s philosophic aspects concerning Education, mimetic abilities, Art, and Politic, in order to reflect on contemporary Education; to relate this author with various lectures concerning Art in the same historical period (Expressionism and Surrealism); to gather some Art contributions in Educational process due to this richness and broadness of the Art in a society where reason guides all; to think on the articulation among Education, Art, and Politic in order to present possibilities and challenges concerning public policies. Thus, it is surpassed important documents concerning Art paths in Brazilian educational context in order to a reflexion this link among Education, Art, and Politics, and their defiance easily found out in public education policies.

Para demonstrar a necessidade dessa articulação apoia-se em fragmentos do pensamento de Walter Benjamin, contidos em seus ensaios que possibilitaram a reflexão sobre as capacidades de aprendizagem infantil e a faculdade mimética, entendida como experiência sensível, que ocorre na relação entre o homem, a natureza e as coisas e que, segundo esse autor, se perderam no curso da modernidade. Parte-se do pressuposto que a mudança estrutural da sociedade implica redefinir o processo de Educação a partir da relação entre Educação, Arte e Política. A metodologia se sustentou na leitura de obras de Walter Benjamin publicadas no Brasil consistindo em um levantamento bibliográfico e na leitura comparativa dos textos pertinentes ao tema. Destes, procedeu-se à contextualização histórica dos escritos e dos elementos sociais, políticos e culturais que fundamentaram a reflexão de Walter Benjamin e procurou-se salientar a transformação da dimensão sensível na era moderna. O percurso construído visou responder aos seguintes objetivos específicos: realizar considerações referentes à Educação brasileira contemporânea a fim de contextualizar a abordagem; enfocar as principais mudanças ocorridas na sociedade moderna desde o capitalismo; buscar entender, do ponto de vista histórico, como o desenvolvimento da modernidade transformou a percepção sensível dos indivíduos; retomar aspectos da filosofia de Walter Benjamin na perspectiva da Educação, da faculdade mimética, da Arte e da Política, para refletir sobre a Educação contemporânea; fazer a interlocução do autor de base com as leituras produzidas no campo da Arte no mesmo período histórico (Expressionismo e Surrealismo); levantar contribuições da Arte no processo educativo, em função da sua riqueza e amplitude, numa sociedade em que a razão imperativa assegura o seu espaço; refletir a articulação entre Educação, Arte e Política: possibilidades e desafios a partir das políticas públicas. Assim, as categorias de análise centram-se na dialética entre progresso/catástrofe; passado/presente, presente/futuro; racionalidade técnica/perda da dimensão sensível; Educação/Arte; Arte/Política. O pano de fundo que alimentou o percurso apresenta-se na necessidade de se criarem, nesta sociedade, as possibilidades do novo, para evitar a degradação da experiência sensível. A tese procurou enfatizar o sensível como imanente ao processo de formação humana e a dimensão pública de formação cultural como um direito subjetivo, não só por ser universal, mas por causa de seu caráter essencialmente criativo, livre, responsável e, por conseguinte, essencialmente humano. O percurso construído visou responder aos seguintes objetivos específicos: realizar considerações referentes à Educação brasileira contemporânea a fim de contextualizar a abordagem; enfocar as principais mudanças ocorridas na sociedade moderna desde o capitalismo; buscar entender, do ponto de vista histórico, como o desenvolvimento da modernidade transformou a percepção sensível dos indivíduos; retomar aspectos da filosofia de Walter Benjamin na perspectiva da Educação, da faculdade mimética, da Arte e da Política, para refletir sobre a Educação contemporânea; fazer a interlocução do autor de base com as leituras produzidas no campo da Arte no mesmo período histórico (Expressionismo e Surrealismo); levantar contribuições da Arte no processo educativo, em função da sua riqueza e amplitude, numa sociedade em que a razão imperativa assegura o seu espaço; refletir a articulação entre Educação, Arte e Política: possibilidades e desafios a partir das políticas públicas. Assim, as categorias de análise centram-se na dialética entre progresso/catástrofe; passado/presente, presente/futuro; racionalidade técnica/perda da dimensão sensível; Educação/Arte; Arte/Política. O pano de fundo que alimentou o percurso apresenta-se na necessidade de se criarem, nesta sociedade, as possibilidades do novo, para evitar a degradação da experiência sensível. A tese procurou enfatizar o sensível como imanente ao processo de formação humana e a dimensão pública de formação cultural como um direito subjetivo, não só por ser universal, mas por causa de seu caráter essencialmente criativo, livre, responsável e, por conseguinte, essencialmente humano. Para finalizar, destacaram-se documentos importantes da trajetória da Arte no contexto educacional brasileiro, para a reflexão da articulação entre Educação, Arte e Política, salientando-se as possibilidades e desafios que se apresentam no contexto das políticas públicas educacionais.
description The main goal of this investigation is to show up that the articulation among Education, Art, and Politics can face up the process to gender instruments concerning formal Education as it enriches this sensitive dimension that manage to give utter conditions to start a broad formation. This will give conditions to an integral formation. In order to show the importance of such an articulation, this study seeks for Walter Benjamin’s fragments of thinking, found in some of his essays which give trends to a reflexion on infant learning abilities and the mimetic capacity. This ability concerns the sensitive experience that goes on with the relationship among man, nature, and things. According to Benjamin, this relation has been lost during the course of modern times. Yet, this study starts out with the analyses that social structural change implies a new definition on the Education process that comes from the relation among Education, Art, and Politics in order to allow a new definition concerning an alternative which can clear up the importance of sensitive dimension in Education, in Politics, and in life. All those three aspects can be found by Art itself. The methodology is based on the reading of Benjamin’s several books as well as on possible bibliographic contents on Education and Art. They should be linked to the theme of this investigation. By these contents, Walter Benjamin’s historic, political, and cultural elements study has been proceeded to clear up the sensitive dimension transformation in modern times. Plus, from Benjamin’s texts a history of his writings and social, political, and cultural elements have been contextualized. This study aimed to answer to these following specific points: to propose considerations concerning Brazilian contemporary Education in order to contextualize a certain approach; to focus the main changes that occurred in modern society from capitalism; to try and understand, from a historic view point, how modern development changed individual perception; to bring back again Walter Benjamin’s philosophic aspects concerning Education, mimetic abilities, Art, and Politic, in order to reflect on contemporary Education; to relate this author with various lectures concerning Art in the same historical period (Expressionism and Surrealism); to gather some Art contributions in Educational process due to this richness and broadness of the Art in a society where reason guides all; to think on the articulation among Education, Art, and Politic in order to present possibilities and challenges concerning public policies. Thus, it is surpassed important documents concerning Art paths in Brazilian educational context in order to a reflexion this link among Education, Art, and Politics, and their defiance easily found out in public education policies.
