The case study that bases the reflections of this dissertation starts from the assumption that the teaching of Biology faces some problems of pedagogic scope in relation to the process of the teacher practice in the classroom, as well as, the look in the integral and integrated formation of the student In society, in being a citizen and in respect for all biotic and abiotic forms with respect to nature and all that it can offer us. Therefore, in this research I present a brief essay on the teaching of Biology in Brazil and the State of S??o Paulo as a historical basis and the philosophical assumptions for discussions regarding the teaching-learning process and to understand the practices and Didactic Modalities that aid in the process of Planning and praxis in the classroom. In this sense, I present as a bibliographic basis for this study the knowledge of Myrian Krasilchik, N??lio Bizzo, MARANDINO, SALLES & FERREIRA, Marta Scarpato and ANASTASIOU & ALVES. The methodology tried out with the knowledge of Ant??nio Joaquim Severino, Ant??nio Carlos Gil, Robert K. Yin and Paulo Freire as a principle for the structuring of the Case Study in the school context. The results and analyzes obtained from these interventions and follow - ups made through classroom observation, semi - structured questionnaire and Culture Circle with two Biology teachers from a public school in the city of. It was found that the didactic modalities are part of the teachers' lesson plans, as well as, of the classes observed, even the school does not offer all the necessary support due to the lack of available materials, the teachers use the best possible educational resources in Their praxis.
