Resumo: In this research, were analyzed as contributions of a didactic se quence with CTS focus in the Teaching of Chemistry from the thematic agrotoxic as promoter of learning in chemistry and training in student as a citizen. Twenty-four high school students from a state school in Paraíba - PB participated in the study. This study considers the pesticide theme to identify that these substances are present in the student’s experience because they are children of farmers. Agrochemicals are chemicals used in agriculture to control pests and diseases of plants through the bottling system of products, such as increased world agricultural production. As the activities that make up as subjects of succession are diversified with the purpose of provoking reflections for the development of actions, attitudes and behaviors to face the problem and the experiences in a pedagogical didactic sequence of 17 classes, elaborated according to the dynamics of the Three Pedagogical Moments (3MP) proposed by Angotti and Delizoicov (1991) and the Didactic Sequence (SD) proposal was structured using the parameter suggested by Zabala (1998), Dolz, Noverraz and Scheneuwly (2004). The research had a qualitative character and a constitution of data, occurred through the means of the reports during the questionings, questionnaires, audio recordings of the classes and textual production. For an analysis of the data to be used as contributions of the Discursive Textual Analysis (ATD) de Moraes (2003). The results of the analysis, the didactic sequence contribute to the appropriation of the chemical concepts and are discussed related to the thematic and as interactions. CTS provided changes in students' perceptions of the effects of scientific and technological development in today's society. An analysis of the data was also not allowed, it identified different possibilities of dynamization of the teaching of the learning, like greater participation and interest on the part of the students and to believe that can be useful for the Teaching of Chemistry.

Participaram da pesquisa 24 estudantes do Ensino Médio de uma escola estadual da Paraíba – PB. Tal estudo considera o tema agrotóxico por identificar que estas substâncias estão presentes na vivência do aluno por serem filhos de agricultores. Os agrotóxicos são produtos químicos utilizados na agricultura para controlar pragas e doenças de plantas, considerados pelo o sistema do agronegócio como os responsáveis pelo o aumento da produção agrícola mundial. As atividades que compõem as temáticas da sequência são diversificas com o propósito de provocar reflexões para o desenvolvimento de ações, atitudes e comportamentos para o enfrentamento da problemática e foram apresentadas em uma sequência didática pedagógica de 17 aulas, elaboradas segundo a dinâmica dos Três Momentos Pedagógicos (3MP) proposto por Angotti, Delizoicov e Pernambuco (2002) e a proposta da Sequência Didática (SD) foi estruturada por meio dos parâmetros sugeridos por Zabala (1998), Dolz, Noverraz e Scheneuwly (2004). A pesquisa teve cunho qualitativo e a constituição de dados se deu por meio dos relatos durante os questionamentos, questionário, gravações em áudio das aulas e produção textual. Para a análise dos dados foram utilizadas as contribuições da Análise Textual Discursiva (ATD) de Moraes (2003). Os resultados da análise forneceram subsídios para concluirmos que, de fato, a sequência didática contribuiu para apropriação dos conceitos químicos e que as discussões relacionadas á temática e as interações CTS propiciaram mudanças de percepção dos alunos quanto aos efeitos do desenvolvimento científico tecnológico na sociedade atual.
