The following study aims to analyze the environmental impacts contained in protected areas present within the city of Rio de Janeiro: The Tijuca National Park, under ICM Bio-management and the White Stone State Park, under the management of INEA. Both are located in an area where urban improvement over conservation units has caused damage to the natural environment. Therefore, the overall objective is to seek what are the impacts suffered by conservation units, caused mostly by human action on them. The specific objectives, there is an analysis of the relationship of socais groups living in this territory and how they talk to each other. Moreover, it will be relevant for a more complete analysis, the construction of a map identifying those present there territorialities and how these affect the local dynamics. In addition, before all exposed panorama, it is relevant to carry out a comparative analysis between the units that are managed by different government presenting the city, different interests and similar problems, but with different intensities. To achieve the results was used as methodology readings, use of urban and environmental legislation, making maps and field trips for collection of material and the use of interviews with the groups involved. As a result, it was identified environmental impacts and so it was possible to perform the map defining the territoriality of the units and the interviews can complete the conflicting relationship between management and residents. Thus it is possible to identify measures for the preservation is improved, the interaction between the groups to be harmonized and have a city with environmental quality planning, respecting the law
