This work introduces the results of the research Faculty - Sick Body: Why does the Body Suffer? The main objective was to investigate the possibility of the Teacher's burn out syndrome to constitute the profession of teaching, as well as, the indisposition characterizes and constitutes the humanity's progress, Freud (1998). The main point of the research was to discover if the "The civilization and his discontents ", as well as the Teacher's Burn out Syndrome would also happen due present situations in the current configuration of teaching. Therefore, it talks about some forms of indisposition that marked the development of civilization, set aside in five modalities. The work adopts the study of reflexive stamp and it longs for to contribute to the theoretical debate for an alternative approach of the Teacher's Burn out Syndrome. Besides, it joins to the studies the coming reflections from the interviews accomplished with physicians who act in the Coordenadoria de Valorização do Servidor, of the Prefeitura Municipal do Rio de Janeiro. It stands out the positioning of the research in relation to the Teacher's burn out syndrome for the inclination of the teacher's subjectivity. The work considers important the researches that present the indisposition of the social point of view. On the other hand, but it disagrees of the emphasis given exclusively to the social factors. Freud (1998), Zaragoza (1999), Codo & Menezes (2000), Adorn (2003), Rouanet (2003) and Birman (2007) were the theoretical recital used. From the dialogue among the authors and the analysis of the interviews, it was verified that some present situations in the teaching configuration actually contribute to the problem of the Teacher's burn out syndrome. The research not only revealed the problem of the Teacher's burn out syndrome but also the importance of the new investigations about the teachers' situation which looked for "strategies of health" so that they don t get sick. In addition to this to inquire the impacts of the silence of the educational sexuality on the teacher's practice and to discover how to the sublimation can be developed in the school space.
