Resumo: | The main objective of this work is to analyse the role of the gender in both electoral and legislative agenda, specifically the politicians from the Rio de Janeiro state in the period between 2010 and 2015. To do so, two distinct occasions in the political dynamics will be investigated. First, the candidates' participation in the 2010 free political propaganda on TV. Then, the legislative production of the elected candidates will be assessed. The focus is on assessing the correspondence between the speech and the parliamentary action of the federal deputies. Mainly, how the gender thematics is worked in these two political occasions. The means of communication have been assuming a central role in the contemporary society impacting both the electoral processes and dynamics, therefore, the media space has been turning into a significant political capital. Thus, it is assumed that the themes prioritized by the candidates on TV were developed and served as a guide for the work in the parliament. The results show the distance between the deputies' electoral speech and their political acts. However, an approximation between men and women was noted, both in the themes mentioned during the political campaign and in the legislative propositions presented as deputies. |

Para isso, serão investigados dois momentos distintos da dinâmica política. Primeiro será investigado a participação dos candidatos no Horário Gratuito de Propaganda Eleitoral em 2010, em seguida será avaliada a produção legislativa dos candidatos já eleitos. O foco central está na avaliação da correspondência entre o discurso de campanha e na atuação parlamentar dos deputados federais, principalmente, como a temática de gênero é trabalhada nestes dois momentos políticos. Os meios de comunicação vêm assumindo uma centralidade na sociedade contemporânea e consequentemente os processos e dinâmicas eleitorais são impactados por esse recurso. Com isso, o espaço midiático tem se tornado um importante capital político. Assim, parte-se da premissa de que os temas priorizados pelos candidatos na TV foram trabalhados e nortearam seus trabalhos no Parlamento. Os resultados encontrados revelam a distância entre o discurso eleitoral e a atuação legislativa dos parlamentares.
