Resumo: | The intense transformation of the technological scenario, the advent of the intelligent industry, and the growing demand for high quality and innovation have further intensified the dispute within the market. The differential of the good offered is preponderant for the survival or death of the ventures, mainly for startups, early-stage businesses that obtain their competitive advantage in the high degree of novelty of their products and services. As these organizations are generally micro and small enterprises, they need a greater knowledge of their competitive power to be able to duel with larger and more established companies. In this sense, this research aims to develop a model capable of measuring the competitiveness of startups based on multiple factors. Measuring your competitive capacity allows startups to visualize your position in the current scenario vis-à-vis competitors and to direct your strategic actions to achieve competitive performance. As for the methodological procedures adopted, the present research is classified as exploratory, descriptive, and of an applied nature, using the inductive scientific method and a qualitative and quantitative approach, where the technical procedures include bibliographic, documentary research, systematic literature review, and multiple cases study. 35 Critical Success Factors (CSF) were identified in the literature grouped into 4 Fundamental Points of View (FPV), namely: organizational, human, environmental factors, and 4.0 technologies. For this, the assumptions of the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) were used, in addition to the application of the Fuzzy AHP method to weight the weights related to CSF and FPV. To obtain the modeling inputs, two data collection instruments were applied in 28 startups, to which the weightings of the CSF and FPV weights, the global performance, and the local performances of each FPV related to the competitiveness of the responding startups were returned. The results were discussed, also, simulations and improvement proposals were carried out based on data from a startup that obtained unsatisfactory global performance, considering three scenarios, to demonstrate the performance growth, based on improvement proposals of specific indicators. Also, the diagnostic tool NIC - Competitiveness of Startups was developed, using Microsoft Excel® software, capable of collecting and processing data regarding the level of competitive performance. About contributions, this research can be considered a starting point for discussions on the theme, in addition to providing decision-makers with a robust tool for assessing business competitiveness. |

About contributions, this research can be considered a starting point for discussions on the theme, in addition to providing decision-makers with a robust tool for assessing business competitiveness.A intensa transformação do cenário tecnológico, o advento da indústria inteligente e a crescente demanda por alta qualidade e inovação, tem acirrado ainda mais a disputa dentro do mercado. O diferencial do bem ofertado é preponderante para a sobrevivência ou morte dos empreendimentos, principalmente para as startups, empresas iniciantes que obtem sua vantagem competitiva no alto grau de novidade dos seus produtos e serviços. Como essas organizações são geralmente de micro e pequeno porte, necessitam de um maior conhecimento do seu poder competitivo para poderem duelar com companhias maiores e mais estabelecidas. Nesse sentido, a presente pesquisa tem como objetivo desenvolver uma modelagem capaz de mensurar a competitividade das startups baseada em múltiplos fatores. Mensurar sua capacidade competitiva permite que as startups possam visualizar a sua posição no cenário atual frente aos competidores e direcionar suas ações estratégicas para alcançar o desempenho competitivo. Quanto aos procedimentos metodológicos adotados, a presente pesquisa enquadra-se como exploratória, descritiva e de natureza aplicada, utilizando do método científico indutivo e de abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa, onde os procedimentos técnicos compreendem a pesquisa bibliográfica, documental, revisão sistemática de literatura e estudo de casos múltiplos. Foram identificados na literatura 35 Fatores Críticos de Sucesso (FCS) agrupados em 4 Pontos de Vista Fundamentais (PFV), sendo eles: fatores organizacionais, humanos, ambientais e tecnologias 4.0. Utilizou-se, para isso, os pressupostos do Key Performance Indicators (KPI), além da aplicação do método Fuzzy AHP para ponderação dos pesos referentes aos FCS e PFV. Para obtenção dos inputs da modelagem, foram aplicados dois instrumentos de coleta de dados em 28 startups, aos quais retornaram as ponderações dos pesos dos FCS e PVF, o desempenho global e os desempenhos locais de cada um dos quatro PVF relacionados à competitividade das startups respondentes. Os resultados da aplicação da modelagem foram discutidos, além disso, foram realizadas simulações e propostas de melhoria a partir dos dados de uma startup que obteve desempenho global insatisfatório, considerando três cenários, para demonstrar o crescimento do desempenho, a partir de propostas de melhorias em indicadores específicos. Além disso, foi desenvolvida a ferramenta de diagnóstico NIC – Competitividade de Startups, utilizando o software Microsoft Excel®, capaz de coletar e processar dados referentes ao nível de desempenho competitivo. Com relação às contribuições, a presente pesquisa pode ser considerada um ponto de partida para discussões acerca da temática, além de proporcionar aos tomadores de decisão, uma ferramenta robusta para a avaliação da competitividade empresarial.Conselho Nacional de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico - CNPqporUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de TecnologiaPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de ProduçãoUFSMBrasilEngenharia de ProduçãoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessStartupsCompetitivenessPerformance measurementPerformance indicatorsTechnologies 4.0CompetitividadeMensuração de desempenhoIndicadores de desempenhoTecnologias 4.0CNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA DE PRODUCAOMensuração da competitividade de startups baseada em múltiplos fatoresStartups' competitiveness measurement based on multiple factorsinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisSiluk, Julio Cezar Mairessehttp://lattes.cnpq.br/8315298509051752Neuenfeldt Júnior, Álvaro LuizÁvila, Lucas VeigaNara, Elpídio Oscar Benítezhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/7717931024835458Silva Júnior, Claudio Roberto300800000005600600600600600600459ed50f-f433-4c93-a8c8-5a7d43df42396a8ffef2-97d1-41bd-a0b4-850fed61272fa393cfa2-b024-45f0-aeaf-c2e651ed6f232c90c7e8-8a2b-4176-b403-8ea58b9649a1117e3253-82be-4da2-910c-7c6692cec1d8reponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações do UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGEP_2021_SILVA_JUNIOR_CLAUDIO.pdfDIS_PPGEP_2021_SILVA_JUNIOR_CLAUDIO.pdfDissertaçãoapplication/pdf2571407http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/21126/1/DIS_PPGEP_2021_SILVA_JUNIOR_CLAUDIO.pdf6d3cfb074ec3d9273c2771acbc76b037MD51LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
